Memory Access Violation

I played the game last night and when i came to play it this morning a warning box appeared saying 'Memory access violation'

I am re-installing now but is there i can do to prevent it happening again?

Also, i searched through and could not find a thread relating to this matter.

Compatibility mode.
Run as admin

For some reason even after I changed the game to compatibility mode and ran as admin, it still says "Memory Access Violation", but I don't know why. Please Help!

I am having the same issue, along with the memory violation thing, I am also getting only 6 FPS after the intro scene for some reason, and I can't seem to find a way to fix it. Tried allowing it through some programs and compatibly but nothing works. Please, I would like some help to this matter.

This is exactly what is happening to me! Phew... I thought I was the only one.

This happened to me a few times. but most of the time it only happened when people closed my laptop lid. Or if they mashed the keyboard.

i get this plus i also get a black sight EXACTLY on the 1st blink and a half, what ever i do in gameplay.
what should i do?
It ran fine only 3-4 days ago, i went away, noone touched my pc
i get back and it just did it, it went fine first try, then it didnt

Changed the compatibility to the XP thing and run as admin and I still get to play the menu only. If I try to even START the game new, intro or not, it ALWAYS kicks me out and says either Memory Access Violation or Illegal Instruction. I have no way of finding a means to counter these idiotic and stupid pop-ups and neither a way to get the game to work. I would VERY much love to know why in the world it is doing this soon or now.

I've had the same problem on my Mac (Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit Bootcamp partition).

Whenever I quit the game, I consistently see the dialogue box saying "Memory Access Violation" but only once has it booted me entirely out of the game upon initial startup showing that same message. Hasn't really been an issue for me (ignoring that one time, but it worked immediately afterwards).

Looks like a Windows 7 issue.

I like to add something... apperantly, 32bit computers are going to have a hard time with the game. I either suggest you wait until the game fixes itself with the next update or upgrade to the 64 bit version.

Windows 7 64 crashing too, change to XP and I can get passed the launcher, but when I hit start after setting up a new game it dumps again.

Same issue, tried running as admin and compatibility mode with win xp sp3.


sucks I was enjoying this game, and lets playing it on my channel, the audience loved it.

I had this same issue, however I fixed it. I'm not sure if it will work for everyone, but it would only do this to me when I had the launcher disabled. I went into the properties and turned the launcher to true, and it stopped doing it to me.
