Rules for the translation:

-Please save your works as .rtf or .txt files and load it up to post it here. This way it will be easier to handle and to list.

-Please give your works fitting names. The names should also contain which of which language your translation is.

-In general don't use any kind of dialect in your translated texts. If in the original file a dialect is used (for example in a handwritten text part), you can use a dialect of your own language that appears to fit best.

This is pretty dang good, I would ask that this be stickyd to allow for people wishing to translate the game a single area to post and discuss their work instead of having multiple translation threads going around.

Also Lassen should keep adding new translations to the original post as new translation are added to allow for people to quickly see the progress of thses translations. There should also be a list of current translations.

The problem with translating in early Alpha is the possibility of large changes and making sure there is someone there to update translations.

I don't think the texts that are in the game now will be changed much, but probably they will be extended or integrated somewhere. When we're done and the development of the game goes on and there are new texts, we can continue our work. I'm sure in the final version there will be much more to be translated than what we have at the moment.

Just to add, in my opinion some terms like Euclid or Keter or the SCP meaning shouldn't be translated since it's not a word but either a term, an example would be "ipod" we dont translate ipod to Spanish.

It can be used both ways on all the bold texts. And in the first part "del documento" it is not really necessary to be put on. Still, a pretty good translation (remember to use the ´ since spanish uses it a lot.). It would be a good idea for you to assist us.

I know it doesn't really need Euclid or Keter translated. But it would sound better to have those translated and have all 3 classes in Spanish, than just 1 (Safe, meaning Seguro in spanish)

There also are German words for Keter (Kether) and Euclid (Euklid) so I'm quite sure there are also words for it in Spanish.

If you ask me I'm normaly some one who wants to translate everything or nothing, cause I don't like mixing languages. Unfortunately I couldn't translate Secure Contain Protect into German, because words that begin with a C are really seldom. The only word that would be fitting is "camouflieren" (meaning: to hide sth.) but this word is absolutely outdated and I'm sure no normal native German speaker would understand it.

These kinds of Keter and Euclid were made up from the SCP Foundation. Here are the meanings:

Eúclido was a greek mathematician, that's why it has a translation. It is currently used as a name for a person.

Keter has no meaning in Spanish (I searched in a dictionary and Internet), so I don't know why the translator adds a ´, making it kéter. Still, it's said better with an ´ than with none.

While I can understand some people's concern that this translation project is premature, it nonetheless gives us a great understanding of languages that this game can be translated into, as well as establish a base for future translations as the game is expanded.

Besides, the early bird gets the worm! The sooner this work is started the easier it will be to translate the game as only the new content will need to be worked on. As well as getting eager native voice actors on board early!

Also since these translations are fan projects, if the translators have to stop working on them for whatever reason it will not impend the games development, and those translations can be put on hold or removed if they become heavily outdated.

*EDIT* Also if a certain word does not exist in your language, make one up! The great thing about languages is new words can easily be created.

Also the translations should be all or nothing as said by Lassen, no leaving any English words in there.

I agree on that, except for one thing.

I think it would be better for the game itself to have "Secure. Contain. Protect" regardless the language to make everyone know about why it's called SCP and a translated one below. Making it like this:
