There's something that greatly annoys me about this topic, actually there's several things but the things that annoy me the most are that the topic wasn't deleted/locked due to being useless spam, the OP wasn't flamed heavily or given a warning by a mod for spamming up the forum with useless crap because he didn't do his research first, and that any attempt to tell the OP that his thread is useless is met with mindless bullshit about how he's new and we have to protect the fragile newbies.

As far as research goes, how about reading the readme? Or the changelog? I don't think that's too much to ask.

I was under the impression that Steelpoint had been made a mod, which is part of why I was frustrated. That excuses some of the lack of deleting this and other threads, but it shifts the blame to Regalis for not appointing even one mod.

Yeah, this thread (and others) should be deleted, but you don't have to make a big deal out of it, its not the end of the world.

But yeah, Regalis should appoint a few moderators. It would help a lot in terms of blocking and deleting threads.

Pointing out a problem, offering solutions, and responding to other posts isn't making a big deal.

I just think that you were a little to rough, but it doesn't matter, lets leave this discussion aside. But as I said before ( and other people) Regalis should appoint a few moderators, 3 or 4, for a while, to see how it works, and if he feels any mod is abusing his autorites, then he could un-mod him.

I do think i was harsh but for fuck sake if the guy actually researched than he wouldn't have made this post and got shit for it in the first place. It makes me angry when i see topics about multiplayer or a new SCP or even useless shit like this. The amount of multiplayer topics is skyrocketing and same for SCP requests when THERE IS A FUCKING TOPIC FOR SUGGESTIONS ON THE TOP OF THE SCREEN And then we have stuff like this where people decide that nobody knows a thing about this tiny fucking feature and makes a post about it.

If you don't like the post just ignore it, it is that simple. However I agree that there are too many multyplayer posts and similar, one is enough. But as far as I know, this is the first thread about the f3 command.

P.S: I actually didn't know about the f3 thing.

Ignoring the problem doesn't make it go away. By flaming the user responsible he becomes aware of his mistake and will be less likely to make similar mistakes in the future due to his fear of receiving a negative reaction again.

Perhaps some threads are like ship sacrificial anodes, y'know, those which keep the rust out of sea vessel's hulls, drawing it to them. It's like having one or two never-ending trolling threads, where everyone proceeds to kick everyone else's rear! If reactions will be like this every time similar threads sprawl... can you imagine? It's like being obfuscated by the glare of a shimmering metal boat of civilized discussion!
