1. Respect the admins, moderators, and all other players on this forum. There will be consequences if you do not. Treat everyone with dignity and respect. No trolling, flaming, as(s)inine behavior, or blatant rudeness will be tolerated.

2. Absolutely no god-modding, power playing, meta-gaming, or puppet-playing. Your character does not control the action of other characters. You are not immune to being hurt. Your character has weaknesses. You cannot dodge every attack. If you have any concern about this, PM an admin and they will deal with the issue appropriately.

3. All character laws and regulations must be followed. If you kill someone, like a citizen, you're going to get in trouble for it.

4. Stay true to your character. Shino does not go around laughing like a baffoon. If you cannot do this, you will be stripped of your character.

5. As a mature RP site, despite the series and genre, we tolerate a lot more than most other sites do. Fighting will happen a lot. There's plenty of blood, guts, and gore to go around for everyone. Vulgarity will also be rampant. Sex is required to 'fade to black' before anything happens. If you are not a minimum of 13 years old, as per invisionfree rules, you are not allowed to join. We also do not accept responsibility for any trouble joining this forum may incur in real life. If you aren't allowed to be on an RPG forum with violence because your mommy says so, I suggest listening to her.

6. Each post must be at least 200 words in length. It's really not hard to do it. It is the minimum -- we do not expect books every post. Please have good grammar. This forum likes to have standards about those who write on it; please be an intermediate to an advanced level of writer.

Our standards are set in stone. We do not base our decisions on heritage or experience, only on your ability as a writer. Our judgment is unbiased in the sense that only your writing is what we are looking at. We don't care if you're from Russia, China, America, England, Germany, Poland, Brazil, Japan, or anywhere else in the world. This site only uses the English language to communicate between members (unless two members wish to talk privately in another language). Please understand that we are not persecuting against your background. English can be your first, second, third, or fourth language and you can still be accepted. We ONLY judge your writing ability. As this forum has an intermediate to advanced level of writing, we expect you to be at that level. If not, you will not be accepted on Red Clouds. This may seem harsh, but this is our way of quality control. There are many other Naruto forums, some of which we are affiliated with, that you may join who are not as strict as us in terms of writing. Everything we do in the application process is to ensure a quality experience at Red Clouds.

You must also post at least once a week, unless you are waiting on people. We want threads to keep moving. We have active members who want to keep RPing and have that time to do so. Please be consistent. Let us know when you are leaving so we don't have to hunt you down concerning your activity. Do not join this site if you cannot stay active or do not plan to make a character. Also, do not join until you have a nearly completed biography of your character done.

Do not join the site under a different alias and pretend to be another person. This is a bannable offense.

7. You are allowed to have more than one character, and we urge you to take more than one. There are A LOT of characters. Before that, we'd like for you to establish your character in the world. Send them out on missions, socialize, train.

Second Characters require that your first character has at least fifteen posts first.

Subsequent Characters after your second character will have higher post requirements.

That being said, lets address original characters:

Original characters ARE permitted. Original characters are accepted only with great consideration and they must be balanced. No Uchihas, none from Haku's clan, nor from Pein's. You cannot have the jutsu that are particular to certain characters (Rasengan, Chidori, etc.). The admins will be the judge of what is a balanced and complete original character. DO NOT Plagiarize ANYTHING when you are making an Original or Canon character. This will get your application immediately denied! Stealing profiles from here and using them on another board will get you permanently banned! This is your ONLY warning!

8. This forum will require you to have more than one name, that being the name of the character. It's too confusing to associate a group of characters with one name and much easier for the staff to keep track of by having individual names.

9. Do not carry out childish or serious hateful and/or disrespectful arguments in the Cbox. If you have a problem with another player on the site then take it up with them privately through PM or PM a member of the staff. If a staff member sees such happening in the cbox then you will be warned once to stop. After that you will simply be temporarily banned from the Cbox. A subsequent offense afterwards will be seen as purposefully disrespectful to the staff and will get you a permanent ban.
