QUOTE (TheShend @ Mar 27 2009, 10:47 AM)
I've an agreement in principle from the Mrs!

Ryan, you can't hide in RE5 4EVA. ACCEPT MEH!

If you see me on around lunchtime, it's cos I'm at work, so I have no arcade stick. If you see me online late at night, then yeah, I have no excuse...

And 'Paddy is too boom' +1

Well, since the website is properly up and running now and I intend on visiting for the full, 3 day duration, I suppose it's best to ask the sage like hive mind of ranbatuk for advice.

I've had a contract drawn up with my Mrs on the terms of the visit, so I can definitely confirm my presence there happy.gif

I'm hoping 3S gets a spot at the event for me to sign-up for, otherwise I'll settle for IV.

So where would be best the best place to get digs for a blatant Northern Monkey?

Are you visiting London with Mrs Shend or going on your lonesome?

Usually the out of town players group together in the same hotel, which means they can play 3S/whatever at night. Victoria is where you have loads of cheap B 'n Bs (and by cheap, I mean London cheap, which is still expensive).

If you don't want to pay any money you could always sleep at pedram's halls.

Ryan, I was thinking of going down with the Manchester lads but I think I'd like to rough it with the London set. Do the sights (Casino), see the people (Dragon) and get the full experience (mugged) wink.gif

I'm going to attempt to actually be some competition now 3rd Strike's on too!

Si, is Pedram still on here then? I'll send him a PM on NE too, see if he'll let me stay at his halls.

What's everyone up to on during SvB '09?

Right, I've got 2 potential places to stay for the duration. I've an auntie who lives on the East London/Essex border and is very near the tube and another place is with a guy on rllmuk who's about a 25min drive/1 hour bus ride from Harrow.

What advice can you give a northerner with regards to traveling to and from Harrow/the event at the times it's likely to end of an eve?

Aces, I didn't get to meet Zak last time. I demand a match against your good-self Ryan on 3S and SFIV!

Will Pedram be sliding in at all?
