I think my preference tends towards solids. I have NO idea why lol. I have some beautiful examples of both in my barn and I LOVE the fun little patterns you get in the nestbox, but if you put two identical animals in front of me, I bet I'd go with the solid. What about you?

I like brokens- expecially in hollands where they have a dark distinct butterfly. If gives rabbits originality. smile.gif

But... I also Like solids. (considering that I only have 4 brokens in my barn)

Whatever has the better type! I can't choose one coat pattern over the other, it just depends on the rabbit tongue.gif

I tend to prefer brokens, depending on the pattern. Some patterns just make the animal look ugly. lol.gif

I like brokens better, but I think solids look better type wise as a rule. I think the broken pattern breaks up the look of the rabbit so the type does not "look" as good.

I agreed with the quote from Lisa. I have loved both and need both in my stock lines in my HL breed. I need this if I show in open HL for me. That would be four classes from a show for me to lose on.I show and need any class in the eight. I show for legs than sweeps so both are needed.

I really can't decide between the two. I'd defiantly choose type before the color, but if it was just going on color alone..i'd probably would choose solid.

I don't have many Brokens, but for the most part I tend to prefer Solids a little bit. It also depends on pattern a lot too though. Some patterns are just adorable.

For me, it usually depends on the color. For example, I prefer broken otters over solid otters. But I prefer solid siamese sable over broken. So yeah, depends!

Overall, I gravitate towards brokens. I just love spotted animals and all the interesting patterns! smile.gif
