EviesTulipsRabbitry - September 17, 2010 01:03 PM (GMT)
How much rabbit feed do you do in a month? Pound of bag of feed, How much feed per rabbit and how long does it last you per bag of feed in a month?

And do you put anything else in feed rather then pellets?

Thanks again! Misty :barbara:

I go through 6 50lb bags of food a month. My Mini Rex have the 5 oz Easy Crocks that get filled to the top. My English Angoras have a 10 oz Easy Crock that gets filled to the top. The Rex have a (2) 10 oz Easy Crock that gets filled to the top. The Giant Angoras and the Flemish Giants have the 20oz Easy Crocks filled to the top.

Hope that gives you an idea.

About 2-3 50 pound bags a month. I also give my rabbits a show conditioner that one of my local vendors sell, and my rabbits occasionaly get oats.

I go through 4 50lb bags and do use a supplement for some of them :).

I go through about 1-2 50lb bags a month. It depends on if and how many litters I have.

I put oats in my pellets, but very little. And Calf-Manna for the babies.

Alrighty! Thanks All!

I go threw about 1 to 1/2 bags a month. I give about 1/2 cup of feed daily. Younger babies (Jr) or nursing mother's get more. I feed mine Manna Pro at the moment and oats and I just bought sunflowers.

I go through about 2 - 50 lb bags a month. Sometimes I will get a third just for security, but I have since cut back on my herd....

I might go through 50 lbs. a month? With usually about 10 adults and then juniors/pre-juniors. My rabbits each get 1/2 cup of feed daily with supplements. :)

I go through a #50 a week. I have about 10 older (which include 2 Checkered Giants and Silver Martens) so they eat a lot, and about a half a dozen young ones (on free feed) and 2 litters.

Wow! How some can even do it! Must be hard or have good jobs to feed all the rabbits.

We use 6-7 50lb bags a month. Our Hollands get about 1/2 cup feed each, with moms & babies getting unlimited feed. Some of the rabbits get supplements and oatmeal.

A 50# bag last 5 days when I'm in breeding season. So about 6 bags a month. I'm currently at about 1 bag a week since I have less litters now. I buy 10 bags at a time. Generally everyone gets 1/2 a cup of food (both mini lops and woolies). I have several woolies who are on free feed as well as all my mini lop bucks. All juniors and litters are on free feed as well.

I might go through 50 lbs. a month?

Jealous.

I go through around 4 bags a month that's with 8 rabbits free fed and around 5 or so bags a month with litters. I am hoping to cut bag.... They get like 1/2 to 3/4 cups a day for Hollands than any other breed is free fed since they are just pets.
So that's 12 Hollands
4 mini lops (pets)
3 Lionheads (pets)
and 1 English Lop (Pet)

HoppinHerdofHares - September 18, 2010 04:08 PM (GMT)
I feed 1/2 cup to most of my mini lops, except for juniors and litters - they get free feed. If I don't have that many litters, I'll go through 4 bags of feed a month. If I have a lot of litters I'll go through 5-6 bags of feed a month.

A bag is 50lbs.
