((The wooden building they were in collapsed. And Swift is trying to help. Cavey's cats are both out. Feel free to Power Swift into lifting a board that's holding Tigerpaw down or something.))

[Sky]

A torrent of water flooded Tigerpaw as he struggled to breathe. Water had been coming over him constantly, but he hadn't found the strength to do anything. His will to live was dimming as it was. "Help!" he yelled, hoping that someone would hear him.

Hollyfrost stumbled towards the pile of wood. Swiftwind and Willowflight were out, but Tigerpaw was still trapped, and who knew how much floodwater was still stuck there? Ducking under the boards, she padded forward, ignoring the splinters pricking her pelt and paws. As the ground beneath the boards became splashier, Hollyfrost sloshed through the muddy waters and thought of how good it would be to rest. She heard a calling from another side of a board, and instantly realized it was Tigerpaw. She pawed the board out of the way, and as soon as she did so, a wave of murky water rolled toward her. Choking on the brown depths, she forced herself to swim toward Tigerpaw. She set her paws down on the mud.
Rummmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Hollyfrost let out a yowl as she plunged into darkness, the mud sliding over her, and it took all her effort to clutch the edge of the ditch and push her head back into air. As she scrabbled at the murky dirt, she finally admitted defeat and let herself slip back, not bothering to try and keep her head over the mud. Her muzzle was the only thing that didn't plunge under the sucking mud.

White spots appeared before Tigerpaw's struggling vision and he knew that those spots certainly meant impending doom. He couldn't fight the mud or the water much longer, afterall, he was a cat. A wave of water suddenly stirred and almost pulled him under. "Help!" he cried once more, trying to keep a hold on the wood. The realization that a piece of fragile, breakable wood was the key for him to remain alive was perhaps, too much for him to bear. He began to breathe harshly. "Help!"

Hollyfrost yowled in fear as her claws gave out and she sank lower into the mud; she could swim in water, but not mud, and she couldn't get out. She paddled up as far as she could and thrust her muzzle at the wood at the top. As the wood clattered away, leaving a shaft of light, Hollyfrost closed her mouth around Tigerpaw's scruff and pulled him as close as she could get him without him plunging in the mud, too. Yanking her front paws out of the thick mud, she pushed Tigerpaw upward towards the light shaft. "Climb!" she cried. "Go, Tige-" Her cry was interrupted by mud flowing into her mouth, and she sank under the water. The last she saw was Tigerpaw clinging to the wood as a huge wave swept over her and shoved her into a pile of wood, winding her as she sank. She was too exhausted to swim.
