avery chevalier was calm and submissive as the teenager lounged out on the front lawns on a blanket and a nice book. in a concealed bottle that hid nothing but the finest red wine, the teenager enjoyed his afternoon alone and with the comfort of the school grounds. he’d been out here for nearly two hours with his shirt open and soaking up the last few rays of sun that was left before the chilly weather kicked in. running out of beverage though, avery laid his book down and stood up from his place on the ground, while buttoning up a few buttons on his outfit before walking back to the dorms to get a top off. on his way though – he caught sight of a painting and a petite red head applying the finishing touches. Instantly he was mesmerized and walked up behind her and stared at it in complete adoration. His breathing then hitched and his pace picked up while his eyes went ablaze. Damn. This was perfect and with that he was sure from his loud breathing that he’d be discovered very soon.
The one thing Marisa loved about being in California was the wheather. Had she been home in new york city, chances were the ground would be covered in snow and tempature would have already been dropping. However, here the wheather was still rather nice during the day which made going outside to paint all the more enjoyable. There was something about being outside, getting the fresh air and taking her paint brush and just seeing what came to her that the young girl rather enjoyed. When she painted, she found herself getting into the moment and almost tuning out the rest of the world. It was no different today. However, as one song ended on her ipod and the next was beginning to play, she heard the sound of someone breathing heavily behind her. Slowly taking out her ear buds, she tuened to see a fellow student standing there. He was incredibly good looking but she found herself growing slightly scared at his presence. Biting down on her lower lip, she looked at him for a moment, deciding she wasn't in danger and finally allowed a smile to form on her face. “hi there.” she says, placing her paint brush down and wiping her hands on her the towel she brought with her.

he wasn’t proud of the way he got sometimes and he wished that there was a time and a place that he could turn it off. avery didn’t like sneaking up on people and pulling out the creep card but this was something that he couldn’t control, even though he so desperately to make them understand how he got when around art. the thing that didn’t help this situation was that the girl wasn’t unattractive either. she was artsy, with brilliant red hair and skin that was snow white. she looked like something out of a story book and when she turned around and spotted him, he couldn’t help but take his eyes off the picture and look at her. focusing hard – he could feel his breath catch at the back of his throat and his vision blurred causing everything to blend together in a mosaic of color. closing his eyes helped him focus but the feeling lingered there and forced him to reopen them. yes – there it was when the colored flooded his line of sight and shook his head slightly. ”hey.” he muttered back got her unaware of what to say next. Swallowing hard and forcing his eyes to look away, he ventured on. ”did you paint that?” he asked pointing at the work of art before them.
Art had always been the one that kept marisa calm, the very thing she enjoyed doing the most. Going out and being in the fresh air and painting had always been one of her favorite past times. Usually, she got so into the zone, she was never aware of her surroundings but the male standing behind her was breathing rather heavily and she couldn't help but turn around. Once she finally did, he turned his attention from the painting to her. As she stood there, watching as he closed his eyes and continue to breath rather heavy, she wondered why he was acting this way. Finally, he spoke and being the nice girl that she was, she smiled at the male. 'yes, I did. It's still a work in progress, so I'm sorry if it sucks.” she says to him.

he didn’t understand what caused him to feel this way, especially since he wasn’t always like this. avery would like to believe that it was always in his nature and was sparked because of his father’s untended neglect towards him. whenever he was sad or needed someone to converse with, avery sought out the closest party to him and that would be the things within his home. mostly people within actual art and simply because they couldn’t leave him, they were forced to listen. then slowly, over time he would make up this master scheme that involved him and everyone around him for the rest of their life. he lived for the hallucinations and that was the reason he felt compelled to know this girl and her art. Hell. for all that he knew, she had more back at her dorm and that excited him right there. ”no it’s breathtaking. the strokes and detail is amazing….” then without further question, avery saw his line of sight blur and flutter before him before he lost conscious and fell to the ground, thankfully landing in a decent manner and one that wouldn’t do too much damage.
art had always held a special place in marisa's heart. It had been something that she had obtain a passion for from her mother and it was the very thing she wanted to do with her life. Being the leader of the photography club and also a member of the art club, she dedicated a lot of her free time to painting, drawing and taking photographs. It calmed her, made her happy and she felt as an artist she was growing each and everyday. Standing there, looking at the incredibly good looking male standing before her, she smiled at him. The attention he was paying to the detail of her work was something that she didn't that often hear, so finding someone who was able to appreciate it as much as her was rather enjoyable for the girl. However, without any warning, he fell to the ground. Unsure as to what she should do, she leaned down before him and tried shaking him, tried seeing if he was at all conscious. “are you okay?” she asked, looking around to see if anyone else was there but no one was in sight.

his unconscious body rested on the ground and his eyes were closed. his mind was turned off and all control had be relinquished to the vivid image that played over and over again within his mind. avery saw the picture of the woman from a few minutes ago and with each passing second, the painting came alive within his head with each colorful stroke. while resting there on the ground, his breathing became more shallow causing his chest to rise and fall with a ruggedness to it. as the time continued to soar within the depths of his mind, he saw illusions of grandeur and never did he want to wake up again. with each passing second through, the colorful images in his head became blurry and quickly dimmed. it was over so quickly and it was then that he awoken to the gently shoves of someone asking him if he was okay. eyes fluttering open, he caught the sight of the bright sun looming over him and reached for his head. ”what happened?’ he asked as his mouth was dry and his eyes struggled to focus.
the entire situation rather confused marisa. one moment, she was standing there, talking to the male as he observed her art work and the next moment, he was on the ground. she was unclear as to what lead him to that point but she was rather concerned. as she continued to see if he was alright, pushing her hand against his body to shake him, to see if he would wake. as he finally did wake up, she let out a sigh and smiled at the male. "well, i am not entirely sure. you were looking at my art and then you just kind of passed out." she says, sticking out her hand to take his, in order to help him up. "are you alright?" she asks. standing there, she wondered what could have caused him to pass out. she looked around, wishing she had some water to give him, as she knew it was something he should be drinking right about now but alas, she didn't have any. "i have some water and stuff in my room, if you'd like them. i mean, it might be ideal right now." she suggests.

his condition was such a horrible thing. it was also rather embarrassing because how could one simply walk up behind someone and simply pass the fuck out. in his mind, it would be creepy and he was only imagining how the other woman was feeling. she was nice about it though and her actions never came across as crass or judgmental. instead, she looked at him with kind eyes and made sure that he was alright. which honestly he was and though his head was a bit sore, avery avoided sight with the picture as he looked at the grass to make everything stop spinning. ”yeah it’s something that i do. my condition sounds a bit lame in comparison to most people’s issues but it fucks me up.” he smiled softly, while leaning upwards and taking the girls hand. ”yeah i should be fine, just a knock on the head.” as the other suggested to head up to her room, where she could give him some water and some other things, avery nodded at her. it wasn’t every single day in this world that you encountered the kindness of a person like her and with that he decided to run with it.
Marisa had always been the nice, sweet girl that was there for people. Although coming to st. judes had slightly changed her, made her less innocent, she would always be that girl. While most students would probably make some judgements at the fact that they male had passed out, her only concern was making sure that he was okay. She intended to do that by having him come back to her dorm room so she could give him water and possibly some ice for her head. Smiling at the male, she picked up her art supplies and motioned for him to follow her. “oh well, that would be a difficult condition to have to deal with, passing out and stuff. I'm sure it must suck.” she said, as she continued to lead the way. Bringing a boy to her dorm could totally be misinterpreted but her intentions were innocent, a kind gesture. However, she couldn't help but have a huge smile on her face because the boy that she was bringing to her dorm was beyond hot and there was a sort of joy of being able to say that he had been there. Upon finally arriving to her dorm room, she opened the door and stepped aside for the male to go in. her room itself was somewhat of a disaster, art supplies nearly everywhere and her falls full of drawings and paintings she had done in the past.

avery chevalier was one that practiced good judgment calls. he could take one look at someone and could easily tell that he trusted them. in this case, marisa was one person that earned his trust. she seemed innocent and the thought of the woman doing anything indecent, was foreign to him. that was a good thing because stuff like that should be guarded, protected even and that’s exactly what he wanted to do for the female. She’d helped him out when his disorder flared up and that was something not many people would do in this day and age. as he picked himself up from the ground, he felt a sudden soreness to his body. it was post tension after blacking out and as he watched the other gather her art supplies, he knelt down and began helping her get everything. ”it’s not good in the slightest.” he admitted as one of hands scratched the back of his head, already feeling a bit of a bump taking place upon his scalp. ”.... en même temps si c'est comme le ciel." he commented further, forgetting that most people didn’t even speak his foreign language. Waving off his last statement he picked himself up from the ground as they walked to her doom. Once he finally arrived with her, avery took in every inch of her room before smiling. "your room is a lot like mine." he smiled at the sight of the art supplies.
While there were so many people in the world these days that would not be the kindest, wouldn't help someone who had passed out, marisa had and always would be that girl. She had never been like many of the students at milton, being a lot kinder and not too much into herself as everyone else and she was thankful that she had been brought up that way. Upon arriving to her room, she watched as the male walked in, following his lead and then closing the door behind them. She smiled at his words, hearing that his room looked the same as her own and finding a sort of joy from it all. “so I am guessing you are really into art? It's my entire life and hope to someday have my work in a gallery.” she said, a smile on her face growing with each word that escaped her lips. Standing there, she admired the male in her room, finding him to be highly attractive and the mere fact that he seemed to enjoy art just as much as she did only brought more joy to the young girl.

avery didn’t have many friends at this school and that had a large part to do with his foreign descent. as soon as they heard him talk, they exiled him and though he could equally charming, they didn’t want to attach themselves to the weird art fainter and his weird accent. marisa though was different, he sensed it deep within her and could tell that she was much sweeter then anyone could imagine. everything about her hummed in the back of her mind and admired that about her like she was the only in the person in his world right now. ”well with work like this, i highly doubt that you’ll have trouble getting your own gallery.” he said as he turned around and looked at a painting that was hanging on the wall. it was a pretty one, painted in mainly pastel blue with soft color bursts decorated in it. ”are you selling any of your paintings, i’d be happy to take a few off your hands.” he looked over his shoulder smiling, wondering if she was the type that painted for money. knowing his luck, she’d not be interested in making a few dollars and with that he gritted his teeth, wondering how else he’d buy that piece of art.
her mother was a photographer and art had been surrounded around her throughout her entire life. At a young age, her passion for art quickly came through and by the age of ten she realized she had a natural gift. Since then, she had been painting, drawing and taking photographs every free moment that she had. Coming into her dorm, it was quite clear that she had a passion for it and she truly did hope to be able to make a career from it. Hearing his compliment, a slight blush appeared on her cheeks. Although she was aware of her talent, hearing it from other people always came as a shock to her. “well, thank you. I really appreciate it.” she says, setting her art materials in there rightful spot before turning her attention back to the male. As he questions whether she was selling any of her paintings, she found herself unsure as to what to say. She had never really sold any of her art before nor had she ever considered it, but the idea itself didn't seem like a bad one. “i haven't really sold anything before but I am not opposed to it. Why, did you have one in mind?” she looked around the room to see which one she would think he'd enjoy.

when his mother had been alive, she’d been a fantastic painter and people all over the french countryside would endorse the woman to paint for them. her raw talent was something to be cherished and everyone who looked at her paints walked away with a cheeky smile and utter satisfaction. the boy had never gotten the chance to see his mothers paintings because when he was a baby, his father had burned every picture that she’d never sold. hearing his father tell these tale tales, only to tell him that her hard work had been destroyed, made him angry for the first time in his life. luckily for him, one of their neighbors had one of her paintings hanging in the foyer, where he simply spent an hour each day looking at it. they never minded his intrusions because they understood what he was doing and understood the process known as grieving. this was probably one of the biggest factors that made the younger male take up art in a fashion, whenever he saw something so entirely beautiful – his freak outs began. ”not a problem in the slightest.” he spoke softly, with a wink heading in the females direction. he watched the female think over his buying offer and watched her careufly, trying to figure out what her response would be. surprisingly, she took to it quite well and with that he nodded smoothly. ”well that one right there for sure.” he said pointing to one of a landscape that had a lonely feel to it. the overall scene was perfect and reminded him of home and with that he simply nodded. ”I’ll pay you whatever you and that’s an offer you can’t refuse.” the offer was now on the table and ready for the other to accept such a gracious thing.
