revenge is sweeter was an original idea thought up by coti and many hands went into designing this site. from the wonderful staff and the members who like getting themselves involved, we thank you so much. with recent developments within the roleplaying world and other roleplaying sites out there - it’s hard to think up original material and move it into practice. we know that with the members help, we can keep this place alive and full of creativity. for that reason – we appreciate you all for being members and bringing no drama to our site. this is your place to roleplay and we won't let anyone take that away from you.

I'M RINGING ALL THE WARNING BELLS
The air was slowly but surely warming, turning from the winter's frosty bite towards summer's warm embrace. Between the two, though, was spring, and with it came a cool dampness that clung to everything. Even if the sun shone, rain could still fall from the pale clouds. The day was just as likely to be beautiful as it was to be miserable, and it could change at a moment's notice. This fact kept many people inside on otherwise nice days, and it was this fact that Nathan now took advantage of.

Sprawled out on the front lawn, the young boy had taken the opportunity to get some drawing done. He'd never liked working when there were other people around; many of his pieces became violent or sexual in nature without his realizing, and people's comments brought him out of his mood. The art was simply something that existed, and he was its way into the world. How was it the duty of the vessel to censor the true artist? But still they commented, laughing and making rude gestures. It was only to be expected from his peers, he supposed. They were all truly teenagers, while he mentally felt much, much older.

Even as he worked, the freshman stole the occasional glance around. Not only did he need to keep an eye out for rain that could ruin his newest piece, but he had to be on alert for any other students. If they were crude about his usual art, today's sketch would open an entirely new street for the gutters in their minds. He was working on a nude on purpose this time, practicing to improve on his weaknesses instead of simply letting his pencil go. He'd learned from art books that the human form followed many different formulas, such as the "golden ratio" that decided whether or not somebody would be considered beautiful. In his art, this ratio often looked more "bronze" than "golden". It was insulting. If something out there had chosen him as the vessel through which this art would flow, he had to do it justice. Making a mistake simply wasn't allowed. They called it "perfectionism" and "obsessive compulsive disorder", but they knew nothing about art.

Soon he realized there wasn't a cloud in the sky, and against his better judgement, he relaxed. The earlier threat of rain would keep the other students indoors, and he didn't need to constantly check the sky if there was no risk of losing his work. Head bowed and eyes narrowed, his attention completely focused on the work in front of him, Nathan was lost to the world.

Excellent read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch as I found it for him smile Thus let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch!
