welcome to revenge is sweeter! we're a roleplay centered around the troubled students of saint jude's located in san francisco, california. here the students are as messed up and they're here with the goal of getting healthy. needless to say, none of them will ever get to that point but then again, they don't care. milton academy, a normal preparatory has also burned down and has merged with the other school. the time of year is february 20th, 2012. so get creative and let's have a fun rp experience. please register in lowercase and thanks for joining our active site.

Group: ADMIN Posts: 251 Member No.: 1 Joined: 14-November 11	posting competition LET'S GET THIS PLACE ALL CRUNK LIKE! alright, so the admins have decided that it's time for a friendly little competition to get all you bitches active, not that you aren't already, but it's to push you out of your comfort zones a little bit. so we've decided to have a posting competition. it's really fucking simple, it says it all in the name. so starting from march 5th, 2012 to april 5th, 2012 all you have to do is this: post, post, post! of course, there's a grand prize at the end and a point system, as well. all you have to do is, whenever you start a thread, post in here; it counts for all of your characters, so just post under one character and then edit the post with the link to the thread. open threads get a 100 point bonus on them. why? because we want to encourage people going outside of their little roleplaying cliques and roleplay with someone they normally wouldn't do. that makes some good plotting, too, doesn't it? besides in the real world, you meet new people on a daily basis and that's how spontaneous we want this site to be. besides we're building a community like no other and this is our way of getting things sexy up in here. points are simple, they're as follows: 1 ---- 100 words = 10 points. 101 ----- 200 words = 20 points. 201 ----- 300 words = 30 points. 301 ----- 400 words = 40 points. 401 ----- 500 words = 50 points. 501 ----- 600 words = 60 points. 601 ----- 700+ words = 70 points. 701 ----- 800+ words = 80 points. each increment of 100 words add = 10 points. methods for bonus posts: posting an open thread - 100 points. taking an open thread - 100 points. creating a open thread in site-wide events - 300 points. taking an open thread in site-wide events - 300 points. create a thread for a specific member in site-wide events - 100 points if thread gets to four pages - 500 points. group threads that get to 10 pages - 2000 points. extra information: so you see, getting points is super easy! also we're currently at 24,335 posts and there's been talk amongst the admins and mods for doing something super special for everyone on the site. so we're challenging you to not only win this competition for a super spectacular prize, but if we break the post mark of 30,000 posts, we'll do something super awesome with the site! we also understand if a lot of people can't participate, it isn't necessarily mandatory, but we want everyone to have fun, so why not participate, right? so it's officially started, so get to posting! anyone that does participate will get some kind of personal memento for doing so. only replies from the 5th onwards count for this. questions and answers: 1) do we get points for every post? or just for starting/replying a thread? So if we like start a thread on the 5th and post.... say 10 times before april 5th do we get points for each of those posts? or do we just get points for the thread itself? (you get points for every post you make, that way it encourages you to keep the plot going and plotting with people!) 2) If we had a thread going before march 5th but we have posted after march 5th or later are those threads fair game and do we get to count those posts(from the 5th on) and get points for that? (that thread is fair game but you can't claim old posts. you can only claim posts from the start of the competition till it's end) 3) If the answer to #1 is 'you gets points for each individual post' that do we get the 100 point bonus in the case of an open thread every time or just the initial time? (you get the 100 point bonus once! also the person who replies to that open thread can claim 100 point bonus also but only once! after that - the normal post scale comes into play.) 4) Do IM threads (obvious they're gonna be 100 words or under generally) or cell phone threads count? (hell to the no - that's too easy, we want actually threads!)
