It had only been a couple of days since the plan had crashed just off the shore of the island. Amelia had only found two other people since she had been here. She could only hope that the others from the plan had survived and were able to make it out of the wreckage okay. It pained her to know just how many others were dead while she was alive. Though she had no idea where they actually were.
Amelia was able to salvage what she could from the wreck and make a little shelter for her and the other two. They seemed to be a decent, but because she didn't know them and is in a strange place she could barely sleep at night. She wouldn't fall asleep until just about dawn, and then the heat in the middle of the day just made it impossible for her to even take a nap.
Today she thought that she would occupy her mind by just adventuring off in to the jungle to see what else she could find. Beyond the dense jungle of the island there was a wide meadow. Nothing could be seen under the long grass. She dare not venture into it for fear of some kind of lion or carnivore that would be in it.
It had to be one of the most beautiful places that she had ever seen since she got here. The grass and trees were full of wild flowers. The grass was not even bent in anyway shape or form from what she could see. It flowed effortlessly through the wind. Amelia looked out over the plain and let out a small sigh, wishing that she would not have to be so afraid to go into it.
