General:

By now, you all should know the basics.

1. No godmoding, powerplaying, metagaming, "Mary Sues", spamming, or flaming. Don't know what those are? Either PM me or Google them; I'm sure you'll find answers either way.

2. Respect the admins. We know what we are doing, trust us.

3. Respect your fellow members!

4. No harsh swear words. Pernese oaths are fine.

5. If you do not post for over two months without a suitable excuse, you account will be deactivated. If you wish to rejoin, PM me.

6. Be nice to the chatbox and its users, please!

...Now that that has been cleared up, we'll move on to specifics.


Joining

1. You must post any potential characters in the Character Approval board. Before roleplaying with them, I must approve of them.

2. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE HISTORY OR ADVERT! This Weyr is a secret. In order to get in, you would have to be found on search and secretly carted away in the darkness of night. Or, you would have to have a relative inside of the Weyr. Or, you could have been one of the riders Alaiza originally took with her to found the new Weyr. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!

3. Currently, you may not bring in a gold pair. As for mutations, check the Needed Characters board.

4. Know that you can PM the admin team at any time! This is a friendly, welcoming Weyr.


Candidates

1. We are lenient with candidate applications. We will allow you to use your own formats, just don't let them become out of control. Please include a space on the form for "color preferences", even if the answer is "any".

2. At the same time, do not ask OOCly beyond that form for a specific color. If you Impress, it will be based on your activity and your character's personality.

3. You will not know the name or color of your dragon before it hatches.

4. You are not guaranteed to Impress, while everyone within age limits may Stand for the Hatching, so long as they are candidates.

Riders

1. You may not apply as a gold rider. No if's, and's, or but's. There are only three on Pern. The only way to get a queen is through a Hatching.

2. You probably will not be able to bring in a Lavender, Mottled, or Rubidium, although we will let several of these by in the beginning.

3. You may apply for a brown, blue, or green at any time. There are currently restrictions on bronzeriding, found here.

Pets

1. Firelizards are common, as they are immune to the disease.

2. THERE ARE NO COLOR MUTATIONS IN FIRELIZARDS.

3. If you'd like a gold firelizard, simply include it in your character approval bio. However, I won't let more than three gold firelizards be created.

4. Browns, greens, and blues are currently accepted.

5. Whers of all colors but gold are needed! Wherhandlers are an invaluable resource, as it takes a lot of watchwhers to keep the Weyr a secret and guarded at all times!
