2057

January

The year is 2057, and the majority of the wizarding world is at peace. The British Ministry is headed up by Arthur Weasley, who is a popular choice, supported by almost everyone you spoke to. Then, tragedy, his beloved wife Molly Weasley passes away in the first month of the year.

Her passing causes Arthur to think about his life and how much time he has got left. The first thoughts of retiring from his post as Minister begins to be mentioned in the hallways of the Ministry.

High up in the French mountains, hidden well away, are the Dark Wizards. (IGP Part 2) They retreated after the fall of Voldemort, their numbers depleted. For decades, they have been regrouping, hiding and planning. Finally, they are ready, and on January the 5th, the first confirmed sign that they are returning to power occurs. In Surrey, England, a muggle by the name of Dudley Dursley is found murdered. (IGP - Part 3) His face has been viciously attacked, and St Mungo's recover the body for examination.

August

Later in the year, on August 30th, there are three further murders. This time, three aurors: Seamus Longbottom, Serafina Pekkala and Ian Powl. Each one were Arthur Weasley's personal guard. Investigation shows that the three have been killed in the same way as Dudley at the start of the year. St Mungo's once again recover the bodies and begin work on identifying a venom found.

After extensive research, the healers discover that the venom mutates itself continually, denying them of a constant they can possibly find an antivenom for.

2058

January

Over in Ireland, a University is formed, under the helm of Jane Potter, granddaughter of the famous Harry Potter. A respected Auror, and well travelled, Jane is somewhat a prodigy, and the University quickly attracts applicants and staff, opening on the 1st January. (IGP Part 5)

October

(The Feast) Shortly after the first term begins, a second series of attacks are reported in the Daily Prophet. An unknown creature or person singles out victims and tears at their face, leaving irreparable damage, and certain death. Information is kept strictly between the Ministry of Magic, and the St Mungo's healers. But as the attacks become more frequent, people begin to talk. (Grim Reading)

November
The university however, carries on, the majority of the students feeling safe tucked in a wizarding community and within the boundaries of the building. (Twelve Bats in the Steeple)

December

Over the Christmas period, Ignan Storm, Defences Professor at the University, takes a trip back to his homeland in the Black Forest. (Ignan's Diary) He calls upon his old contacts, and seeks powerful texts that might help identify the creature. There, he find details of The Stolen Faces of Einsmagen, his place of birth, where similar attacks took place in the 1300s. Returning with the information, Ignan is confronted by old friends, one tells him he is wanted for a murder in Germany, and that he is in danger. Elsewhere, festivities prevail. (Adara Holiday Gala)

2059

January

Ignan flees, but is attacked while escaping back to Ireland. On new year's day, in the early hours, Sigma Vector discovers Ignan wounded in the University, and safely delivers the parchments to Jane. (Wounded Return)

The second term begins, students returning, and some temporarily departing, and the examinations come at the end of the second term.

May

In the early haze of summer, with the trouble biding its time, the University looks to close for the summer. (Truth or Dare)

June

An unexpected guest arrives, (Laying the Trap) in the form of Johann Storm, Ignan's nephew. He receives a frosty welcome from some, (Across the Threshold) as his intentions are suspected. Johann, well known amongst the dark wizards in central Europe, has come to Britain, after hearing the dark rising has stalled.

He makes contact with the dark magicians in the mountains. They refer to a witch called Lucy MacNair, who is their assumed leader. They meet, and size each other up, (A Mere Hazard) revealing plans and the fact that the mysterious beast belongs to Lucy. Then, pitting against each other, they both begin to spread rumours that Minister Weasley is looking to retire.

July, August

The Dark magicians begin to come together, excited by the concept of two strong leaders, and soon Johann has installed himself in the Ministry, and Lucy not far behind. The papers begin to pester Weasley about his hinted retirement, and people begin to question whether he is well enough to lead.

Jane, observing all of this, is still very much part of the investigations into the creature. She and Ignan travel back in time using the time turner mirror (A Journey To the Past) to seek more information about the University and the trouble brewing. Then, later, her research causes her to travel to China, along with the help of some of her staff, and now trusted allies. At all times, she keeps Johann under her watch, never trusting him, yet never having evidence.

Meanwhile, Johann befriends a student by the name of Elixa Amethyst, (Dark Interest) and begins a relationship partially based on his ability to control her by imperio. The relationship proves fruitful, as Johann pursues media interest in his campaign to replace Arthur Weasley. The relationship causes great animosity during the visit to China. (New Clue, or Vacations?)

September

Now established in the Ministry, Johann is appointed an assistant, by the name of Theta Vector. A squib, she does her best to prove herself. (Rise of Power) Johann is little concerned, he is formally endorsed by the great Jane Potter, and opinion polls show he is popular with the people.

Lucy MacNair, meanwhile begins here campaign and enlists the help of not only the dark wizards, but a student, Constantine Thordendal, (A Lucky Meeting?) and Sigma Vector, who she met several years ago in Greece. She quickly catches Johann up, using her status as a Diagon Alley shop owner to her advantage.

Elixa enlists the help of Stella Adara, (Are You Sure That's Strawberry Sauce) a pureblood with excellent family connections, to help Johann further. Together they introduce him to the right sort of people, ready for when the University term restarts.

Just before it does, Ignan pays a visit to Johann in the Ministry. (Blood and Water) They almost start a fight, and Johann threatens to hand him over to the German Ministry on suspicion of murder. Theta has helped Johann put together all they need, and there's even two wizards waiting to take Ignan with them. Then, at the last moment Johann lets him stay, having achieved what he wanted - to gain control over his uncle.

October

Shortly after the second year begins at the University, Arthur Weasley announces that he is formally retiring. The competition is official, and there are five candidates: Lucy MacNair, Johann Storm, Alvin Polignano, Morgan Freestone and Angus Broderick. (Minister is Retiring)

November

The Daily Prophet publishes a new opinion poll, showing Polignano to be the most popular candidate. Shortly after, he is found murdered on level two of the Ministry, right in the headquaters of the Magical Law Enforcement Department. The Aurors are baffled, and the body is displayed in a ritualistic way. Jane and Maxi take charge, and Maxi almost causes trouble with Johann who appears as soon as he hears. He thinks Lucy has performed the murder, as he certainly hasn't.

While Jane and Maxi investigate the scene, Ignan decides to investigate the link (Part of Ignan's Office) between Elixa and Johann. Although there is no evidence to suggest the imperius curse, he uses healer's entrancement to see if he can gain information. Of course, this being against Elixa's will, he has to use a little dark magic to force it.

Johann, linked to Elixa's mind by the curse, senses the intrusion back in London, and manages to force her to wake. Elixa, confused and threatened, bolts away, and immediately notifies Johann to meet her in the Paradise.

Meredith gains a confession from Ignan, (Part of Ignan's Office) while delivering a sleeping potion, and is so appalled, threatens to inform Jane. Instead, she hears of the murder on the radio with Andromeda Morley and Sigma, in Sigma's office (Part of Sigma's Office). Jane arrives back, and Meredith decides to leave it for that night at least.

Four candidates remain, Lucy MacNair, Johann Storm, Morgan Freestone and Angus Broderick. Johann takes a sudden interest in Freestone, and has Theta look into him. Less than forty-eight hours later, Freestone is found lying in his own blood in his family home. His wife discovers him, and remains hysterical until St Mungo's healers sedate her for the sake of the Aurors who arrive at the scene. It is almost exactly a week since Polignano's death.

The following week, Freestone's funeral is held, and the three remaining candidates pass comment. Angus Broderick is clearly rattled. His wife, who has two small children by him, begs him to stop running for Minister, fearful of his life. (Freestone's Funeral)

To rally support, Johann throws a party at a wizarding club in London. (Midnight Storm) During this time, Theta and Graham begin their official relationship.

In late November, The Crooked Inn, a pub in the Paradise, celebrates its 600th birthday. The Paradise is packed full of people celebrating from all walks of magical life, including a number of students and staff from the university. Shortly after Lucy Macnair puts in an appearance, however, the celebration is attacked by the creatures written about in the papers, and so many are lost, including Jane Potter's brother, Graham. December

Merry becomes increasingly concerned over the behaviour of the University's defences professor, Ignan Storm. Somewhat fond of Ignan, it leads to arguments, and bitter talk, which later leads to suspicion that Ignan is working against them. (Aconite Arguments)

Candidate Angus Broderick is murdered in his own home (The Final Moment), however, student Elixa Amethyst is found in the house, seemingly of sound mind, and is arrested for the death of Broderick, his wife Elaine, and their two young children. (Two Horse Race) Elixa is sent to Azkaban, because they are unable to prove absolutely that she was controlled. Senior aurors (heads of MLE and IDC) order her imprisonment.

As Lucy and Johann escape Broderick's house, Lucy attacks Johann and renders him unconscious. Meanwhile, Ignan is with the other dark wizards and begins to suspect something is wrong. He apparates to the house and finds Johann, rescuing him just before help arrives at the front door. He takes him back to Ignan's house to heal him. (Backstreet Healing)

More lighthearted events come to the wizarding world in the form of a basket auction. (Basket Auction... who's gonna be your pair?)

Finally, Election day is here, just before Christmas. (The Election Results)
The results take hours to be announced. When the time finally comes, the last two candidates on the run, Lucy and Johann, come together to the stage. However, before the results are announced, the Daily Prophet reporters begin questioning the candidates about the murders. Johann Storm, previously given to drink Veritaserum without his knowledge confesses the murders of Broderick and Freestone. He also mentions Lucy name, but Lucy use legilimens to shut him up. Weak with the previous attack, Johann stops talking, but the mess is done. The aurors take him and he is arrested and sent Azkaban. (Mcnair is Minister)

Stella Adara catches up with Derek Bowman, and they reflect on what has been a very difficult year. (Tangled in the Past)

2060

January

Term begins again at Potter's University. During the Christmas break all the staff have been given the choice - conform or leave. The new regime is here, compulsory duelling, the dark arts. Forced out by Lucy's men, Jane, Sigma and Theta have fled the country - knowing their lives would be in danger otherwise, and are hiding in the French mountains. (Outcasts) At home, and across Europe they have been identified to the public as dangerous, and it is claimed they attacked aurors when they tried to question them about the deaths. (WANTED)

Ignan Storm takes charge of the University, greeting in the new students with some new and rather untrustworthy looking staff. (The New Order Begins) The students greet things with a mixture of interests. Some are happy, others less so, and the animosity is growing, particularly over the duelling. (Curse, Hex, Stun, Repeat) Two staff in particular, Esther Rosewater and Meredith Vance, are not happy, and make plans to rebel. (Wandering...)

Lucy Mcnair, new minister, visits her opponent, Johann in Azkaban where he is still imprisoned, and makes him an offer for freedom, which he turns down. (Not the Wind That Howls Here) However, she is sure he will accept in time. Meanwhile, his accomplice, Elixa, is still imprisoned. (Desolate)

Carrick and Brianna, the childhood parental pairing that became more an arranged marriage, twists into something new, as Carrick takes control of feisty Brianna (b.r.o.k.e.nHEARTS & [big]Plans). Using the gift of Wolfric Talon's, Qudditch Cup ring, which isn't quite what it seems.

In late January, the word about the cooking club has got round the students far enough to recruit, and the first meeting is held in the Potions laboratory. (Bad Taste for Dark Tongue). Meanwhile, the Daily Prophet is broadcasting propaganda about the Mcnair government, and spies of the spirit kind are afoot. (The Walls Have Ears)

Meanwhile, Brianna continues to tussle with Carrick over the ring, and also covering up the cooking club's real purpose. (I //get// TONGUE t.i.e.d )

On the last day of January, Ignan Storm holds a invitation only party in honour of Lucy at the University, and invites his favoured students. (Potter's Purists). Here, there is an unexpected but greatly welcomed pledge of support from the vampires to Lucy Mcnair.

February

In the early hours of February, Lucy Mcnair goes to Azkaban to release Johann, after he has written her a letter to accept her conditions of release. At the same time, Jane, Benjamin, Theta and Sigma carry out a rescue plan to break Elixa out, and a fight ensues. (The Rescue) They escape, and take shelter in a Muggle home belonging to Elixa's estranged parents.

Meanwhile, the Daily Prophet reports a different view on the story. (Potter's Breakout from Azkaban)

The following day, (3rd February) Ben makes contact with the Three Musketeers at the University, and the others wait amongst the Muggles. (Happy Families)

Sam, a loyal member to the new resistance group, takes a day away from the University, where a new relationship with the Muggle world is begun. (Worlds Apart...) He returns later, to meet Henry and feels obligated to tell Henry the truth about why he is late. He tells him that he was on a secret mission for RFTA and met Elizabeth then. Beyond that, they discuss about what to do to find out what's going on with Bri. They two plans, both too difficult to put in practice. Henry feels strange around the root Esther gave to all RFTA members. Extra sensitive. (Sensitive Sniffer)

Several days since the escape, (5th February) and his release from Azkaban, Johann leaves St Mungo's hospital and vows to hunt down Jane Potter for Lucy. ( The Undertaker's Return)

Next day, Jane slips out in the early hours to meet Nero. (Secret Encounter) They share information about what is going on in the world.

On the 8th February, Johann meets up with the other members of the family not only for new robes, but to glean as much information as he can from Ignan, and employ Morsan to help find Jane. (Tempestas Horrendous I) They obliviate the young woman in Madam Malkins as she was eavesdropping on their conversation, but the girl has noted things down and these are passed on to the RFTA.

Ignan finally has the time to catch up with his favourite student Brianna, who he has yet to convert to the cause. (Tea for Two)

Johann, locating Jane, Elixa, Sigma and Theta at last, leads an assault on the Muggle street, tearing it to shreds, including murdering Elixa's muggle parents, before capturing Jane. (He Comes to Claim the Bodies)

Ben and Elixa, escaping together, eventually call upon the aid of Lamia to hide them after Jane's capture. (Divided)

Meanwhile, relishing in capturing her, Johann presents Jane to Lucy, but Lucy is most displeased he has let the others slip away, and banishes him to find them. (Feast Upon Thoughts). But its a bit late to call off the false press that Jane has been apprehended, and the others too, even though they are still at large. Subsequently there is a gathering of celebration in the Leaky Cauldron that evening. (This is Our Revolution)

Beginning to feel anything less than appreciated, the students escape the university for an evening to the local village to lick their wounds. (Some Escape)

The Dark rising defeats and takes over Germany, as reported in the Daily Prophet back in Britain. (40 Dead in German Takeover)

Feeling a bit defeated and confused, Ignan and Merry cross paths, both unsure of the other, or if there is any future for the University in their eyes. (Taking Some Air). During their absence, the University's ghost, Emily, encounters one of the dark students, Belladonna, and find a mutual interest, and competition (Servant, Not Me!)

March

The "Cookery Club", now in full swing, is finally attracting the attention of those who wish to destroy it. (The Extra Ingredient) Apollo attempts to infiltrate the group.
