FAQ'sQ: What do I do first?Click "Register" and sign up with a name - Joe Bloggs, Susan Smith, whatever, as long as it has at least a forename and surname. Kudos for wizarding names. If you want an instant canon - check out "applications -> joining form & jobs --> canons list".
Q: Then what?Head to Applications. Then, the joining form If you have an adult character and want a job, just go to
Jobs board!
Q: How do I know which places are vacant (staff, shops etc)The
Jobs List is an updated list - check the very first post by Jane there.
Q: Does my RP-sample need to be "In Character" (IC)?No, it doesn't. You can use any RP-sample since it
was made by you. For example, if you are/were a member of Beauxbatons and made several RP's there, you may use a sample of one of those RP's to apply in PU. In the other hand, if you wish to make an IC RP-sample, you're free to do it.
When you have several characters here, you're not obligated to make a RP-Sample. Just write there which other characters you have. It will be enough for proof. ^.^
Q: When do I get to choose my course? When your application is accepted, Jane will post a response. Then you'll go to the courses list and select your role.
Q: How do I get an avatar and signature - those images with people's photos on?Try the
Graphics Forum where there are instructions. Alternatively, befriend someone outside of PU to make them for you - or tinker with photoshop/gimp or your favourite graphics package.
Q: What are character introductions? They are - in the most abstract sense - your character's information. The same info you put in your application goes into the first post you make. Then, click reply, and the second post is details on your characters friends. Have a look at other people's for ideas, or look at templates from resource communities. It doesn't have to be fancy, and you can customize it however.
Q: Can I post in a lesson/class/lecture if my sign up has not been added by Jane?If Jane accepted your application, and the class is on your course, you can certainly go ahead and post in the class. If its not listed, you need to send her a PM about your interest for it.

Q: How do I report spamming/abuse?These aren't only against the site rules, but a strict InvisionFree regulation, that you agree to when you register. To report them, PM any member of staff (for example, Ana (Jane Potter; Lucy Macnair), Kit (Sigma Vector, Theta Vector, Ignan Storm, Elixa Amethyst), Stella (Stella Adara, Bethany Taylor), HoH's, Head boy/girl, Prefects, Professors) and we will take care of it.
Thanks for Kit for doing this at first.
