[Monty Ollivander]

"Oh man, your sister got owned." Monty muttered to Alexander, watching Stephanie get down from the stage. "So much for being Mcnair's little student army hey?" He asked the others.

"Well, unless we're an army of patronuses eh Professor?" He asked, realising he might be overheard by their new defences professor.

Brynn sent Monty a dirty look as Stephanie made her way back over. "The patronus army would be better put to keeping MacNair away, she's got control of Azkaban and therefor has control of the dementors." She reminded him, irritated with the simple mention of the woman's name. Lucy MacNair was screwing with stuff she had no business touching. Like Potter University. Brynn didn't care who heard her, everyone knew she was against the current Wizard Administration. There was good, there was evil and there were those that knew how to walk the line between, Macnair was part of the first group.

"Besides I don't know about everyone else," She sent a dark look to Calypso Vesper, the pale blond raising an eyebrow back at her, "But I'm not here to be made into an army for anyone. Especially not some jumped up pure blood with delusions of grandeur," She wasn't yelling or making grand gestures, she was simply stating a fact. She'd been warned before about simply speaking what she thought but she knew she wasn't likely to change any time soon.

[Asha Khan]

Asha took a deep breath and let it out again, focusing on not being irritated with the four people goofing off in the back of the room. She was focusing on her Patronus. "Expecto Patronum" She flung out her wand, a look of calm concentration on her face as a sliver of mist quickly grew into a life sized Indian Elephant with long tusks stampeded across the room before circling amid noises of surprise and awe. Asha was very, very good at defensive magics. It was the offensive that tended to give her trouble. She didn't have the heart to cause pain.

She smiled sweetly as the large misty-white mammal stopped beside her and raised it's head to give a silent trumpet while she patted it's surprisingly solid head with a caring hand. She enjoyed spells such as this. The Elephant almost seemed alive, as though it should be given a name and toys and a peanut or ten. She knew that it wasn't really real though, it was a shadow of her need to protect. It was a symbol of her courage and her heart. She wasn't sure how exactly it turned out to be a full sized elephant, but it amused her and she enjoyed the shocked looks on peoples faces when they realized just how much they had likely underestimated her.

[Belladonna Harpur]

"A Patronus as a distraction is hardly efficient for energy." Belladonna disagreed with the Professor, arms folded. "Fair enough its a showy trick, but you'd be far better making less use of energy on a distraction, thus allowing a fuller attack while the distraction is working. That attack merely presumes the attack will be over in moments, and if it was, it would only be because your opponent was weak, or already injured, and then, you'd not want to waste your energy on fancy deliveries."

Belladonna looked to Asha's growing patronus, filling the space. "Though, I admit, Khan's patronus would stop most in their tracks just by the size and idiocy."
