Missing since September 1, 1990 from Ribe, Denmark Classification: Missing Age at Time of Disappearance: 38 years old Height at Time of Disappearance: 6'1"-185 cm. Distinguishing Characteristics: White male. Light brown hair; blue eyes. May have beard and mustache. Circumstances of Disappearance Mikkelsen was last seen in Ribe, Denmark on September 1, 1990. After a divorce and other personal problems, Jens Mikelsen went through a difficult period in his life. On September 1, 1990 he rented a car in Aahrus, Denmark to go to the South. The car, which should have been turned in to the car rental agency in Zurich, was found by Italian police around the middle of the month in a service area north of Firenze. But there were no traces of Mikelsen.
