Police seek public’s help to find missing person

Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Dartmouth man.
Forty-year-old Sergei Kostin was last heard from Saturday at about 3:30 p.m. He was a driver for Bob’s taxi, operating a green Chev Impala bearing roof light #367. Mr. Kostin picked up a fare on Gaston Road at about 3:30 Saturday and has not been heard from since.
His employer contacted police yesterday to report this information. His whereabouts are not known at this time. Sergei Kostin is a white male, balding, with what is described as a small build.

Police in search for missing woman

Montreal police are asking the public's help to find a 25-year-old LaSalle woman who disappeared Dec. 8. Jessica Neilson was last seen by her husband at the end of the day. She left in her car from her home to meet with friends from work, and has not been seen since. She was driving a 1994 Acura Integra with the licence plate number 284 WNF. She has brown hair, grey-blue eyes, weighs 160 pounds and stands 5 foot, 10 inches. She has a beauty mark at the top of her forehead. Anyone with information is asked to call 514- 393-1133.

REQUEST PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TO LOCATE VEHICLE LICENSE PLATE
The Regina Police Service is asking for assistance from the public in locating a single license plate, reported stolen on July 5, 2004, from a vehicle in the Cathedral neighbourhood.
On July 5, 2004, police received a report of a stolen license plate that was taken sometime between 11:30 p.m. Sunday, July 4, 2004 and 7:30 a.m. Monday, July 5, 2004. The license plate in question, Saskatchewan License # 161 CDP, was removed from the front of a vehicle parked in the Cathedral neighbourhood. The owner of the vehicle is the victim of a theft and, therefore will not be identified, however; police would like to locate the missing license plate to determine if it is connected to some other offence. This reported theft is one of several lines of inquiry in the investigation into the disappearance of Tamra Jewel KEEPNESS, who has been missing from her Ottawa Street home since sometime after 11:00 p.m. on Monday, July 5, 2004.

Police are hoping to identify two witnesses who may or may not have information to the December 12, 2004 disappearance of 56-year-old Leonette Marie Purcell, from 5560 Highway 2, Grand Lake, Nova Scotia, Canada.
A call to the Purcell home on that day was made from one of several pay phones outside the Irving Einfield Big Stop at 6757 Highway 2 in Einfield, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Two men were spotted on a video surveillance tape obtained from the Irving station. They are seen in the convenience store section of the gas station. One of those men used a pay phone which made the call to the Purcell residence. The call lasted about 4 minutes.

The Williams Lake RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in locating Gerald SUPERNAULT . SUPERNAULT has been missing from the Williams Lake area since August 7th, or 8th, 2008. He was last seen leaving the Toosey Indian Reserve wearing black pants , black shirt and hiking boots. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of SUPERNAULT is requested to contact the Williams Lake RCMP or Crimestoppers.

David "Wolf" Carroll
Hells Angels Nomads Chapter
David Carroll, who would earn the nickname "Wolf", was born in Halifax in 1952. He joined up with the 13th Tribe biker club, an organization that controlled much of the drug market in Halifax and installed fear into the locals.
In the early 1980s, the 13th Tribe came to the attention of the Hells Angels. The Angels were impressed how the Tribe took care of business and on December 5, 1984, after a year long prospecting period, the club officially became the Hells Angels Halifax chapter.
According to law enforcement, the Halifax chapter played a part in the 1985 slaughter of five members of the Hells Angels North Chapter in Lennoxville. Police arrest Carroll, along with
Halifax members Randall "Blondie" Mersereau, Patrick "Frenchy" Guernier, and John Christansen, are brought to Sherbrooke to stand trail on charges of first-degree murder. The bikers were later acquitted.
Altough Carroll was exonerated of murder he, Randall Mersereau, and Patrick Guernier were convicted of living off the proceeds of prostitution on May 30, 1986. All received one-year prison sentences.
"The Wolf" is intelligent and knows the benefits of maintained a low profile. He spent the late 1980s and early 1990s expanding his activities and rising in influence. On June 24, 1995, he left the Halifax chapter for the Nomads, a crew that consisted the club's elite members, and took over much of the drug trafficking in the Laurentians.
Carroll was among the over one hundred members and associates and indicted in Operation: Printemps 2001. He avoided arrest however and remains in hiding. He faces 13 counts of murder and gangsterism charges.
