As the Eighth Wave crashes, more people join the Resistance... and more join to oppose them. As alliances begin to form, the DNA fusions begin, and true intentions behind the scientists are slowly going to reveal themselves... or are they?
Also note that the user "Treblipotent" has returned to Pokemorphs Legend, and is now performing CPR on the site... or something like that. Check her return thread for more details.

Looking for a place to unwind, be random, get chased by evil munchkins who want to eat your brains, make friends and plot world domination? Well, that would be here. The [R]andom thread is where you can just be random and have fun. No topics to stick to, and you can change the subject at any time. YAY!
On a further note, Evil munchkins who want to eat my brains actually are chasing me.

I think that the whole world is against me, then I realise that I'm wrong. A few smaller countries are neutral.

Fun. The perfect opportunity to talk about things that I never would've brought up in actual conversation. Randomness- it's brilliant.
Question. Have you guys ever dreamed in a foreign language? It's sort of interesting.
It's happened to me two times that I remember. It was mildly irritating.
I don't remember much about either one, but... in the first one, all I remember is that I was in some sort of store, browsing an aisle (I think there were some sort of craft supplies in the aisle, but I can't remember for sure) when a male employee walked up to me and began talking in spanish. I can't remember what he said, but in the dream I knew he was speaking spanish, regardless.
The second one, I also only remember the spanish bit. I had been standing in my kitchen (it looked nothing like my kitchen, mind you, but I knew it was my kitchen), and I was talking to some girl. In spanish. She had joked about something, and I made some sort of dry remark (I don't remember what either of us said, just the general idea), and then she mocked me for having no sense of humor. She said "Eres /muy/ serioso." (Literal translation: 'you are very serious'). It bothered me in the dream, because she had said 'serioso', which had the masculine ending, when she should have said 'seriosa', the feminine ending (since, you know, I'm a girl). I didn't realize til after I woke up, maybe a few days later, even, that 'serious' is actually just 'serio' or 'seria' in spanish: not 'serioso' or 'seriosa'. Which was a -headkeyboard- moment.
Dreams are much entertaining. Got any to share, foreign language or otherwise?

I remember two particularly interesting dreams from when I was younger.
I was in the mall, in one of the seating areas that wasn't an actual store, and there were a bunch of dinosaurs walking around. Pretty small ones, but dinosaurs nonetheless. I remember seeing a triceratops in particular, but there were others, too. I mainly noticed that none of them were interested in eating me. Which I thought was weird.
Another one, I was in my elementary school, standing in line with my class outside the art room (which we always did while waiting for the other class to finish), and the teacher (who was a really old lady, white or gray hair, shorter than I was, really big mouth) walked up to me and opened her mouth really wide (seriously- we're talking 180 degrees. Like Pacman or something), and I thought that she was going to eat me or something. Then she closed her mouth and apologized.

Well there was this one where everyone at school was a brain eating zombie with pale white skin and red eyes. Then there was this one about (Of all things) Pokemon. With really bad graphics.

There was another one where I was talking to some kid from school (sitting in another friend's living room, though that friend wasn't in the dream). We were both sitting cross-legged, across from each other, on the floor, just talking. Then suddenly he kissed me on the cheek. Completely random, then I woke up. That particular kid was actually in my science class at the time, but I had no interest in him- nor did I talk to him or even notice him, really. I have no idea how he wound up in a dream.
