As the Eighth Wave crashes, more people join the Resistance... and more join to oppose them. As alliances begin to form, the DNA fusions begin, and true intentions behind the scientists are slowly going to reveal themselves... or are they?
Also note that the user "Treblipotent" has returned to Pokemorphs Legend, and is now performing CPR on the site... or something like that. Check her return thread for more details.

Treble crept outside the building, checking over her shoulder now and then to make sure that Rocon was following. She'd destroyed the lab and smoked the cafeteria... and now she'd give the newbies a chance to join the rebellion- once they arrived, anyways.
This rebellion you speak of. What purpose will it serve? Are your new powers not satisfactory?
Treble smiled slightly at Mewtwo's question, although she was curious as to why he didn't know- he could sift through her thoughts and memories, couldn't he? He should know. All the same, though, she answered him. The scientists use... cruel methods in the transfusion- no, during this entire research project of theirs. You've seen my memories, you know what Ice told us the day the first wave arrived here. You've seen her cruelty at work. And quite frankly, I intend to get my revenge. She paused for good measure before adding, Wouldn't you call that fair?
Mewtwo was silent, apparently satisfied with her answer. Treble meanwhile looked around until she spotted Ice, the vile woman scientist who was given the task of greeting the newcomers and breaking the news to them. Well, Treble wasn't particularly interested in alerting Ice to their presence. Treble stood flat against the wall so as to not attract as much attention while she looked for a good hiding place near where the plane would land. Somewhere that she and Rocon could hide- far enough that Treble and Rocon could plot quietly without Ice hearing, but close enough that they could quickly join the newest group of people once they stepped off the plane. She scanned the area until her gaze rested on a tree a short length away- it provided shade over a small area behind Ice. It was a bit close, but if they spoke only in whispers, it might be out of earshot...
Treble waited for Rocon, before gesturing to the tree, which appeared to be large enough for the two girls to hide behind. Treble crept along the wall slowly, balancing her weight on each foot so that they wouldn't make a sound as she made her way to the tree.

Rocon followed Treble, her heart beating in her chest, ears and she could feel it pounding at her chest as if it wanted to break free. She wanted to sigh, mabey leave, but no. Rocon wanted to do this, it was something knew she just hoped that stuff didnt fall out of her pockets.
She nearly gasped when she saw Ice, she didnt like that person not one bit, but she was somehow able to keep quiet. Eyes locked on Treble and where she moved, but every now and then she would look around to see if anyone else was there, mabey sneaking around too. But not another thing moved, other then mabey Ice's chest as she breathed.
Eyes wacthed Treble gesture to the tree and she gave a slight nod, walking slowly, as she crept along the wall like Treble did. Rocon broke a small smile, they didnt do anything to shocking yet but it seemed kinda fun. Secret Angents... Rocon thought tracking back to older memories of what her Father told her.

Christoph waited eagerly as the plane slowed down on the small runway, scanning in all that he could from a small port-hole window. The place wasn't too bad. Heck, it was a whole lot better than where he had been for the last year. As soon as the captain had told the small group on the plane that they weren't legally required to have seat belts on, Chris practically jumped out of his seat. A plane ride does not exactly do wonders for the legs, and for him this was a problem as he was pretty tall.
Christoph stepped off the plane, a dark green duffel bag in one hand and a black messenger bag just big enough to fit a computer slung over his left shoulder. He had what he thought may be essential for a trip where he would be studying the habits of a legendary. A few notebooks, mechanical pencils, clothes, toiletries, and even a fifth edition 'Caverns and Salamence' rulebook, complete with two sets of dice and a special scenario book, were shoved into the duffel bag. The Messenger bag on the other hand had a laptop computer with as much music and as many books on the legendary that he was to study, Uxie, as he could find crammed onto the hard drive.
He was smiling, both a nervous smile and one that told a story of anticipation for this moment. Of course he couldn't exactly see the two girls eavesdropping on him, so he immediately walked to the woman, obviously waiting for the people on the plane, and held out his hand for her to shake. Chris's smile suddenly vanished as soon as he took in the woman's clothing, more so the blatant Team Aqua symbol on her bandanna. Though he hadn't actually seen anything of these people, he had heard of their exploits from his sister back when she had been around. He put his hand back to his side and asked, a little shakily, "This... This is the IASL... IASR... The legendary study thing, right?"

Treble's gaze landed on Christoph as he stepped off the plane- so the first of them had arrived. There had to be at least three others, Treble figured. Should she make her appearance now, then, or wait until the other three had shown themselves? It was then that Treble noticed Christoph approaching Ice, and heard him voice the question This... This is the IASL... IASR... The legendary study thing, right? Treble shook her head, almost amazed at the kid's naivety. Of course, that was to be expected- she was the same way when she arrived. Treble wanted to answer the kid's question herself, but she figured she ought to wait until the others left the plane- then she'd make a dramatic appearance. But then... What if...
Treble had talked with Mewtwo often enough- what if she could use her telepathy to talk to other people as well? She'd give it a shot. Treble thought her words aloud, this time focusing on the new arrival's face instead of thinking of Mewtwo. With any luck, it would work, and he'd be able to hear her. The question was, how would he react? Well, she'd find out.
You've come to the right place, yeah. But this isn't anything like you expected.
She paused, wondering if the kid had heard her. She'd probably see his reaction in a minute, if he had- it ought to be a good test of her powers, at any rate. She then decided to add to her message, to reassure the kid.
Might want to avoid that Aqua lady. Ice. She's not the best type to hang around- you'll see that soon enough.
Treble stopped projecting her thoughts at that point- that would do it for now. She didn't want to tell the kid too much- she'd save that until she and Rocon made their appearance, once the rest of the wave showed up.

Christoph looked around when he heard a voice. The voice didn't seem to come from anywhere, and yet it sounded clear as day. It obviously wasn't the Aqua member in front of him, but he was sure he wasn't imigining things... Or mabye he was... He shrugged it off, opening his mouth to say something before something interrupted his thought process.
Might want to avoid that Aqua lady. Ice. She's not the best type to hang around- you'll see that soon enough.
This time he knew he must not have been crazy. He looked around again, turning a few circles while successfully looking like a dork, and eventually looked back at the plane. He knew he heard somebody, but the voice came from nowhere. He looked back to the Aqua lady, about to ask her if she had heard anything, before deciding against it as the voice instructed and instead waiting for the others to get off the plane. The voice was that of a girl... It sounded as clear as his thoughts... No, it sounded clearer than his thoughts. He looked down, a little concerned as to the origin of the voice.

Ice glanced around the area, scowling. She was tiring quickly of her welcoming business, but Omnipotent insisted that this was her job. It was irritating, but after this wave of subjects, there would only be ten spots left. In short, she would have to do this... no more than three times, more likely only two twice. Perhaps then Omnipotent would allow her a job more suited to her abilities. Psychological torture, that was her area of genius. She supposed that it was for that reason that she was given this job- that left it to her to break the news to the subjects, that their lives, essentially, were in ruin. Her cold eyes lightened slightly at the thought, but her spirits were quickly dampened once more when she remembered that that was the only decent part of her job. Welcome wagon and cleaning fairy, that was her. Humiliating.
Ice glanced up quickly when she realized that the plane had landed and one of the subjects had already left the plane. Another wave, another welcome speech, she thought, vaguely amused. She supposed her psychological torture could begin soon- but of course, she had to wait for the other three test subjects to leave the plane first.
This... This is the IASL... IASR... The legendary study thing, right?
Ice's cold gaze landed on the subject as he spoke, although she was somewhat amused. The fear of the subjects, that was what she was here for. The fear and anxiety of the boy consoled her- more to look forward to, now. She answered the boy's question with a simple, "Naturally, it is. There's more to the experiment than you might think, though" she said with a cold chuckle, and added for good measure, "You'll see soon enough. I can't go and spoil the fun, now can I?" Her eyes lightened once more when she saw the boy's immediate look of confusion, and his uneasy glancing about. Psychological torture, indeed. But she was only warming up.

Rocon wacthed Treble, the boy, and Ice. As she slowly zipped up a Dark Green hoodie she had on, next thing she knew she almost sneezed. "Ah..." The sound was just a whisper but she hand to quickly, and strangley whisper to herself, "Bless you.. Bless.. you... Bless you..." She gave a small smile when her sneeze vanished. She looked at Treble, wondering is at this time she could of been thought odd, but at the very least she didnt blow their cover right?
Naturally, it is. There's more to the experiment than you might think, though
She gazed at Ice threw the plants which she blended in better with her many shades of green, the hood was over her head to cover the frizzy, curly, and rather bright and poofy orange hair.
You'll see soon enough. I can't go and spoil the fun, now can I?
Rocon scowled she wanted to hear what was so fun, being dumb at the moment and she had to think before she knew what she ment.
The plane had dropped suddenly in altitude, Morgan clung to the arm rest, bracing herself for a rough landing. The landing was smooth much to her surprise and unfortunate dismay. She had looked utterly stupid.
"Aah!" she scrambled as Christoph jumpe dout of the plane. "You just going to leave me here alone then?" Morgan rolled her eyes and tumbled out, unfortunately missing the last of the steps. "Ouch!"
Fixing her ponytail position she dug around in the luggage, throwing her suitcase behind her and then her small la sports sac. Morgan pulled out the handle car of her rolling case and towed it after herself. Her contact lens flitted from side to side as she searched for Christoph, joining him in time to hear the whole part about this 'experiment'. Christoph seemed confused, she didnt care, it got her far from her parents which was great!
"Im Morgan," she told him stiffly as she pulle dout a small journal and began to write down her first entry.

Raven walked silently through the corridors, and noislessly opened the door. It was a good thing they kept the hinges oiled. She quickly stepped into the shadows when she saw Ice, and edged around her. Raven tripped over something while she wasn't looking, and bit her tongue to keep herself from swearing and giving her presense away. A little way away, Raven noticed two figures, hardly discernable in the darkness. She moved closer slowly, and made sure that they could she her as she aproached, but she also made sure she was still out of everyone else's view. As she stepped near them, she stopped and waited to see if she could come closer.

Treble watched the plane, her eyes glued as another passenger stepped off. Not yet, she told herself, Wait for the other two... She was getting stiff from sitting still so long, so she shifted her position slightly, though careful not to make noise as she did so. Even as she shifted, though, there was something... off. Almost as if someone was watching her. Maybe someone else was nearby? Well, it was probably only Rocon... Nevertheless, Treble turned, staying out of sight of Ice and the new Wave, and got a good look around- her gaze rested on another figure who must have come outside fairly recently- Treble didn't remember seeing her there before. Well, she didn't remember seeing her at all, but she presumed that the girl was one of the other 'volunteers'. Cautiously, she extended her thoughts toward the newcomer, thinking aloud to her, Come to join the fun?

Raven didn't flinch when she heard the voice in her head. Her Espeon, Moonlight, used to do it all the time. She just nodded and moved silently closer. Just incase this person could read minds as well, Raven dropped the barriers she had, which everyone kept up without knowing, and though really hard. You've already had your DNA transfusion, haven't you? My name's Raven Then, she stopped and crouched, to minimise the chance of being seen.

Treble felt something odd at the back of her mind as she turned back to watch the plane, still careful to stay out of sight. What was that? It felt... odd. Like someone nudging me to get my attention. She asked Mewtwo.
A human has tried to make contact with you through telepathy. Humans cannot use telepathy, except through someone such as yourself who has acquired psychic powers. In time, you will learn to focus your mind so that you can understand when humans try to speak into your mind.
Treble nodded- so other people could use telepathy, at least to speak to her. Do you know what they said? Treble asked Mewtwo. Or can you tell?
My mind is much more sensitive than your own thick skull, Treble Galesong, Mewtwo scoffed, sounding vaguely offended, although he then relayed the newcomer's message to Treble. She thanked Mewtwo silently, before projecting her thoughts once more to Raven
I'm Treble Galesong, Treble said, then added, The first to have the DNA transfusion, as far as I know. I've got Mewtwo's DNA.

Christoph didn't hear Ice say anything, as he was too busy trying to figure out in his head what, or more where he had heard the girl's voice. He didn't pay much attention to the girl coming out of the plane until she walked to him.
"I'm Morgan"
"Hm?" He said, looking at the girl. Well, she looked pretty nice, or at least more friendly than Ice did. "Oh! Hay, what's up? The name's Christoph." He let go of the duffel bag and held out his hand for the girl to shake. "Call me Chris though, Christoph makes me feel like I should be in a tie or something." He let out a slight laugh as he looked around, a little nervous. He felt like somebody was watching, not just the Ice chick. Somebody had to be around because somebody talked to him, and it definitely wasn't the one he had been warned about or Morgan.

Raven thought for a while, after hearing this information. Then, she looked at the newcomer who had stumbled (in a rather embarassing manner) out of the plane. Hello, Treble. My DNA will be merged with Zapdos, when one of the scientists bothers to do it. I don't think it will happen for a while. Raven thought, doing the same as before, then she moved slowly into the clearing. So... What are we doing?

Hello... my DNA... Zapdos... once... What... doing?
This time, along with the mental nudge, Treble could barely sense words in her mind. It was a pity that she could hear so little of it, but she could figure out how to work her telepathy with time. For now, she worked on deciphering what Raven had said through telepathy- she presumed that the girl would be merged with Zapdos later, and Raven was asking something else. Treble guessed at it, and responded accordingly. Causing a bit of trouble, I suppose. Putting on a show for the new guys. I figure, once the other two volunteers show their faces, I'll start messing with Ice a bit. And recruit a few more for the Resistance. As she spoke, she heard the two volunteers who had left the plane, introduce themselves. Morgan and Christoph, Treble noted the names to herself.
