VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR GROUNDBREAKING SCIENTIFIC EXPERIMENT

Scientists at the Interregional Association for the Study and Research of Legendary Pokemon (IASRLP)

Are looking for resilient, young candidates (ages 15 to 18) to assist in the research, analyzation, and laboratory experimentation regarding pokemon commonly cited in myths and legends and yet rarely seen by human eyes.

Volunteers will take part in a major endeavor to shed light on the mysteries of the existence of such pokemon and in the process will form their own opinions and ideas that will help them in whatever path they may choose to pursue in their region.

In addition, all volunteers will have basic necessities provided for them during the internship, which will last approximately three weeks. This will include boarding, food, and medical needs. The laboratory is located on a small island between Johto and Sinnoh. Transportation via airplane will be provided. For the time and location of aircraft boarding for each region, as well as applications for the experiment, please call the number printed at the bottom of this paper…

This notice mysteriously appeared over the four main regions of the world-- Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, and Hoenn. Although its purpose was vague and slightly ominous, many people applied to discover what the "groundbreaking scientific experiment" was that would allow them such a good look at legendary pokemon.

Little did they know... they were going to be the experiment.

As the Eighth Wave crashes, more people join the Resistance... and more join to oppose them. As alliances begin to form, the DNA fusions begin, and true intentions behind the scientists are slowly going to reveal themselves... or are they?

The RPG Collection

Also note that the user "Treblipotent" has returned to Pokemorphs Legend, and is now performing CPR on the site... or something like that. Check her return thread for more details.

Plot:
There are rules known well among the jungle; survival of the fittest; eat or be eaten. The laws of the wild. Each and every member of the jungle upholds these laws, the predators, and the prey.

But what happens if all they’ve known gets turned upside down, and the hunters become the hunted?
-
For thousands of years, the Bhandavgrah Jungle has been a peaceful sanctuary, vivid with both fauna and flora. There has always been an abundance of prey, and not a member of the jungle went hungry.

Until… man.

There has been a recent settlement of humans in a village near the jungle clearing. For the most part of ten years, the occupants haven’t gone into the jungle, and the two communities existed peacefully. Until, that is, a few humans permeated their world, going farther than any other villager. Naturally, the beasts were frightened. The men cut down the trees, and set sections of the forest on fire. It was quickly evident that these hairless apes were not friendly. At least, not from what the inhabitants of the jungle could see.

Some animals, however, see this as a welcome change, a better prospect. The apes, especially, are interested in the on goings of the humans, and some bears and other creatures as well. What’s worse, some wolves have actually chosen to live with these horrid creatures.

The world as the animals know it is over. For some, the change is for the better. For most, the worst is yet to come. Which side do you fall?

There are many selections of species to choose from. It's a realistic, but fairly open RP. The community is freindly, and we hope to see you there.
