Time to Eat!

[Mira Skygaze]

Mira raced into the kitchen, still clutching her stomach. "I win!" she cheered, ignoring her hunger for a moment. Her stomach rumbled in protest; apparently, it didn't like being ignored. Sighing, she took a loaf of bread off the counter and bit into it, savoring the sensation of having food in her mouth. Finally, food in her stomach!

[Christoph]

"No fair! You got a head start! I'm calling shenanigans! Chris yelled as he ran into the dining hall, slowing his run after he passed the Latias morph. He was breathing deeply as obviously the run took a small toll on the teenager. He smiled and pointed at Mira as if to call her out in a game of dodgeball or something of the like. After breathing for a while, leaning on a table for support, he said "You might want to drink something. You've been out for a day, right? You're kidneys'll explode or something... Or maybe it's the liver..." Chris muttered something to himself before walking over to get a few glasses of water. "Either way it's not good. One time I heard about some guy who passed out due to dehydration at the Safari Zone in Hoenn. 'Course they say to stay hydrated anyway. And now I'm just running my mouth." He sheepishly chuckled before going to the table with three glasses in hand.

[Mira Skygaze]

"You never said no head starts! All's fair!" Mira pointed out, giggling a bit. She took a glass of water and drank it slowly. When she finished, she elaborated. "I read somewhere that when your body hasn't had any water in a while, it won't be able to stand it if you drink too quickly. You've always got to be careful of how much you eat or drink when you've been deprived for a while."

[Christoph]

"For serious? Never heard that one before." He shrugged and sat down at the table, smiling his usual smile. "I dunno everything... You think I might though?" He looked down and continued, "I... I mean Uxie's supposed to be the being of knowledge, right? Ya... You think...? I mean, you're looking like Latias..." He then looked up and said, the smile gone away, "Can... Can you, like, do anything Latias can? Like, change how you look and stuff?" He was half curious, but felt a little rude for just coming out with a request for her to put on a show for the kid, Well, he didn't need to see it, her word was enough, but it would have been pretty cool to Christoph.

[Mira Skygaze]

"You might," Mira suggested. "I think it would be pretty cool to know everything. But I don't think I'd be able to handle that kind of knowledge. It would confuse me too much." When asked about changing her appearance, she thought about it for a little while."

"Well, not yet," she answered, taking another sip of water. "So far the most I've been able to do is make myself partially invisible. I haven't actually tried altering my apperance yet. I'll try later, after I fill up." She took another bite out of the bread, calming her roaring belly.

[Raven]

Raven walked slowly down the stairs from her room. Her head was down, and she was so tired that she didn't notice the other two people until she had grabbed some food and sat down in a chair further along the table. Her head jerked up as she heard talking, chewing and slurping. "Oh... Sorry If I'm interupting anything" she said softly. Raven then went back to eating ravenously. (LOL. Raven, ravenously) "Are you friends of Kazza? D'you know where she is? I haven't seen her, even though she got out of the DNA transfusion yesterday". Worry was etched into Raven's face, something which didn't usually happen.

[Mira Skygaze]

"Oh, you're not interrupting anything," Mira insisted, trying to be nice. She took another bite of bread and another sip of water. She was really starting to feel better now. Getting food and water was definately the best thing for her.

"Well, Kazza came up to my room a little while ago. She left a little while after though, and I haven't seen her since. She's already started changing; I've seen it. She was pretty badly injured when I saw her, but the wounds were healing much faster than normal. Plus she's got these talons now. She was complaining about them, so I doubt they're of much use to her."

[Christoph]

He laughed for a second when she talked about her turning invisible. "You're not kidding? Dude, that is all sorts of awesome! he said excitedly, s it seemed impossible. "You're lucky, you know? I d..." Christoph was going to reply, but he was interrupted by a lip-smacking from across the table.

"Oh... Sorry If I'm interrupting anything."

"No, you're cool." he said, repeating what Mira had said to the girl. Though it seemed rude for a moment the sudden change of emotion from collected to worried caused him to forget about it. He didn't know who Kazaa was, but Mira seemed to know, so he kept his mouth shut. If she was that worried it must have been bad.

[Raven]

"Well, if she's walking and complaining, she should be OK". Raven said, giving Mira a greatful look. She then concentrated on attacking her food. Raven just hoped that Kazza wasn't going to say or do something that would get her in serious trouble. She pushed everything to the back of her mind, and tried to at least seem OK. In reality, she was silently freaking out and loosing it. Soon, she was going to be injected with Zapdos's DNA. Then, Arceus knew what would happen. And she sure as hell didn't want to find out. Her face had slipped back into it's usuall cool indifference.

[Christoph]

"Hay, I'm sure whoever Kazaa is, she's just cool as an ice cube, kay?" he said, taking one of the spare glasses of water and absent-minedly taking a swig of the water. "But like I was saying, it might be not that cool to know everything. I mean, how fun would it be to, like, stumble through life when you know how to stumble? And... " his mind wandered to the look of Uxie. Sure it'd be cool to know stuff, but how would he look? Would he have tails? Would his hair be blonde or would he have to keep his eyes closed at all times? How the heck would he get around? He shuddered for a second before continuing, saying "I mean, how would I see?"

"I agree," Mira said with a nod as she took another bite and another sip. "Knowing everything would take the fun out of it, since you'd already know how it was going to turn out." The sight question made her have to think a little. "Well," she finally said, "maybe you'd see the same way Uxie sees, but I don't know how that works. I just couldn't imagine losing my sight. It'd probably be pretty devestating," she sighed.

[Raven]

Cool as an ice cube... I wonder if he knows what she's been fuzed with. It's a big coincidence Raven thought, then shuddered. "Being blind... Well, I can't even imagine it. It would be horrible". She said, and picked up a piece of food, and started nibling on it. Her thoughts turned to her own transformation. What would she look like? How different would she be to what she was now? These and hundreds of other questions were popping up in her head.

[Christoph]

The talk of losing his sight was pretty depressing, as was made obvious when he slumped down in his chair. "Thanks, guys..." he sighed as he continued to think of what he would become, but what if worse happened? What if he died because of it all? The whole procedure would probably be risky, and could quite possibly result in death. Or paralysis. Or comma. Or all of the above. He shuddered a little just thinking about it. Trying to get his mind off of the subject he asked "Uh... So anybody into table-top roleplaying? I'm kinda into it myself..." He trailed off as he flicked the twenty-sided die hanging on the necklace around his neck. A shot to his self-esteem would be better than thinking about death it seemed.

[Raven]

Raven was about to ask what tabletop rolepalying was when an announcement blared. She wasn't really paying attention and groaned at what she did hear. "Kurai Raven...... Maximum....report to lab... guards... escort... half an hour..." She stood up and headed for her dorm, where she knew Max would meet up with her. "Sorry guys, I've gotta go. I don't want to be out here when the guards come calling". That was true, this place was too open and too big to defend. It would be much easier to do so from their room. Her mask slipped again, showing how scared she really was, but just for a second. Then, it was back to it's usuaul cool indifference.

[Emily]

Emily ran into the dining hall and skidded to a stop. There were only a few people in the room. None of which were Max. She probably had already had a bite to eat and then got bored waiting. Feeling disappointed, Emily took a sandwich, sat down and began to eat.
