Well met, fellow adventurers! I'm Eisel; some folks call me Grandma Gamer; and I've been roleplaying for nigh on 30 years.

I love PBPs, and I've seen them come and I've seen them go - rapidly. A lot of the reason for that is lack of advertising. How do you get people to join a game? Well, advertising. While there are tons of sites regarding PBeMs, there really are not many good places to advertising a PBP. Hence, the creation of this site.

We'd love to know more about you, so please feel free to post a bit about yourself in this topic. Check out the resources and links, and join in a conversation . . .

Hello!

I'm known as Tyrien, Durelin, Rakein, and Rachel.

I've been forum roleplaying for almost four years, though I've also dabbled in other forms of roleplaying.

I have just recently started my own site after roleplaying on several others, RPing mostly in the realm of Middle-earth and in Robert Jordan's 'Randland.'

I love fantasy, sci-fi, anime, writing, reading, and RPing (obviously).

Wonderful site, Eisel! Thanks so much for giving us poor PBPers a place to mingle, find places to RP, and advertise our own sites.

Hey all!

I go by Triple J, TJ for short and I'm very intrigued by this site! It's true that it's near impossible to find resources and such for PbP boards, so the Play by Post Network is a dream come true! I have my own PbP board that is going on two years this coming October so I'm excited about that.

I've been gaming (PbP) for a little over two years, but I've been writing fiction for about six years. And I am most intrigued by fantasy, horror, and magic based RPs.

I've been dabbling in web design for the past few years, even turned it into a small money making business by taking on my first ever client. I'm in talks about taking on a second.

I'm still in college, working towards a degree in Psychology.

Look forward to mingling about the network!

Welcome! And yes, it is rather a wonderland for PBPers, isn't it? Almost like a support group.

Psychology...I considered that as a major. Fun stuff, interesting field.

Can't wait to see what games you can share! Just make sure you use the template and all that. Oh, and... *points to Eisel and Remmy* they're in charge!

I hope it is and will be an effective way to advertise PBPs.

I have a thread where I asked people how they found the site, so I will try to keep getting such information from people who join, and will definitely let you know if someone found the site on here!

Perhaps there could be a place for either PBP owners who have ads here to post that they have received members because of the ad, or for players who join games because of an ad here to post about that? Might be tricky, could be abused...might not give you any idea at all... And it might be too early to dedicate anything to that.

Hi! Name's Knomadt. Just thought I'd introduce myself.

I've been roleplaying for about a decade, give or take a few years, although it's been a while since I've actually run a game myself. Like everyone else, I'm hoping this site will be a success for advertising roleplaying games, not just my own, but all the others here too.
