Wow, just the kind of forum I needed!

Hi, I am Brent, a teenager who has just created his own site. I looked around for ways to gain new members, and believe me, I was happy to stumble upon this place!

Great site you have made!

Hey, I'm acclue lockheart... exclusively... It's quite rare that I'm known any other way XD. I've been playing PbPs since last March, and I fell in love with the system and writing in general ^^. I constantly go to PbP sites when I'm not at school or my craptastic job, and am constantly working on more posts or the novel I started writing and hope is published (please please please ^^) I tend to make RPGs a lot and then sit back as a member of the "cute" races (kids, moogles, tiny shapeshifters, undead demon children reborn as cats) alright so that last one only happened once tongue.gif. I'm also known for not giving a plot and having everything work out great ^^. Anyway, I really do need a place to advertise the stuff I make, so I'm going to give that a shot.

Welcome, welcome! I, like Tyrien, have been absent - a little problem with being offline for over a month!

But it's wonderful to see you, and we're pumped into high gear to do some serious advertising!

Hello, I just happen to come across this board tonight, and thought I'd stop by, and introduce myself, and perhaps add a link to my site. First off Eisel, I think that it's awesome and truly amazing that you've been RPing for over 30 years, not to mention creating this board.

Anyway, I'm known by a couple names mostly Van C. Ranger, and to a few Chris, though my true name is the first. I've been RPing for about 6 years, and have only ever RPed using Forums, perhaps that seems limiting but I think it improves both your imagination, and writing skills.

I've had my own Harry Potter board for about 4 years though the current is only 3 years old. It took a year, and some to develop the idea itself. I'm currently working on a series of books (6), and even dabbling in writing a script for a TV show. With a little luck I'll start school for CNA, and shortly after that begin working on my LPN degree, though I originally wanted to go to med school to become a Doctor, but personal situations have put that on hold.

Hey all! What an awesome idea for a site! Us RPG'ers need all the advertising space we can get wink.gif

My name is Rhymer, I'm 24, female Australian who's living in Edinburgh. I had a Labyrinth II RPG (movie with David Bowie made by Jim Henson) that was powered by Yahoo!Groups about 4 years ago, which I have recently resurrected through phpBB.

I'm Bill, I'm 22 from Maryland, and, now that I think about it, I've been PBPing for...12 years now.

Wow. I impress myself.

Anyways, my recent addiction has been the site I moderate for, Swords Honor: Another Era. Been around for 6 years as of just this past February, and we've got a system that gets us a steady stream of keepers. I've been there for over 3 years now myself.

I'm happy to see a place like this exist, and am happy to contribute to growing it.

Hello, WeaveWarden here, official spokesperson for Myth-Weavers. Personally, I've been roleplaying for a little over ten years, but I've only become passionate about the wonders of play-by-post in the last five years.

My question stems from this conundrum: Myth-Weavers is a play-by-post site that allows gamers and gaming groups to play any sort of game they want and provides the tools to do so. As such, the games that end up being hosted are of just about every genre, though fantasy is the most popular. I don't want to pigeonhole the site into just Fantasy, but I also don't want to act like a nasty spammer and make duplicate submissions in all of the genre forums.

What should I do to give this play-by-post site a fair shake around here?

Well hello there my fellow role players! biggrin.gif

I've been role playing for nigh on 8 years give or take. I only recently started playing in PBP style games within the last year, and even more recently (With the last two months) started my own PBP game.

This is a great resource! looks very promising, and I hope to bring in some more potential players to the site. Thank you so much for creating this place! you are a life saver! laugh.gif

Hey all. After noticing a mistake in the URL that I posted in my ad, I've gone, and corrected it. The URL to my Play -By-Forum RPG will now take you to the right page, as opposed to opening the default email program. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello, my name is Nicholas Phaelin. I've been dry for- wait, nevermind.

I'm truly glad to have stumbled upon this forum. I sincerely hope that it can get some traffic onto my forum, as up until the past couple of days, it's been on its last legs. So, I hope I can truly get some quality RPers onto the board to bring it back to life.

Personally, I've been on the PbP seen for close to five years I suppose. Considering I'm a senior in high school, that's a heckuva long time. Ah, the days of being a nooblet..... Anyway, I've admined several and GM'd just as many. So, I know that's not always saying much for some people, such as those that admin'd an RP for about a day or some such, but still, I hope that says a little something for myself. Thanks again for setting up this awesome forum!

I just made a site, like yesterday actually, but it's pretty good so far. Only thing I'm lacking is members. I'm trying to advertise and get affiliates, which is how I came here. smile.gif

Hi! I'm Amaya (also known on the web as Lucki) and I've been rping for almost 10 years now (I'm 21). I started with WoT sites and it kinda spiraled from there. I used to post on a site called Surrender and I loved the format and the idea. Surrender went under a couple of years ago *sniffles* and I've been contemplating creating my own place that's a free-form, pbp gothic rpg. I've finally done it. Granted I've just done it, so there are only 6 active members (technically 5 since two of them are mine) and we're just getting started. But we are totally open for new members and I probably need alot of advice on it - and I'm more than willing to accept help!

It's nice to meet everyone!
