^yeah, I think a lot of people stayed here just for the community but as mentioned, PD doesn't even have that anymore.
And yeah, I came back, but I have no life so I don't count. Plus I didn't even come back active, there's nothing to reply to or post about on this forum. --------------------  I chose this life. Couldn't care less about resources and stuff. Want to buy community!
Anyway, from my POV you may have noticed I come back randomly (rl issue or boredom) because I remember from back in the days when pd was at its peak, was great fun. But now each time I come back I just lose interest because nothing is happening... edit: If anything, you think maybe the focus of pd is too broad, it's got all this coding and graphics and skinning and this and that. When you can find specific sites with the specific resources you need rather than a scattered array of them. I may not be a long time veteran here but even with my own endeavour with my site majority of the members were from here anyway.
