We all know what happened in that story. Octavius, Julius’ nephew and heir, stepped up to become the first emperor of Rome. But what if another path was taken? What if Octavius never became Augustus? What if we helped to pick what happens next? Will the Republic continue or will it fall? Will the Empire rise from its ashes? Will Pax Romana ever be achieved?
