Sanctuary and Main Plots Our Plot Discussion forum is not visible to guests due to past plagiarism, though every registered account has automatic access. All ideas are thought up by the players, and everyone has the option to steer the plot. If you don't wish to weigh in it, though, you don't have to! Current Plots Currently, a pro-Muggle group calling themselves the Mudblood Martyrs are adding to the casualties of war, targeting purebloods regardless of their affiliation. Led by Magnus Hendry, a charismatic Muggleborn wizard, their activities have recently turned from vandalism to serious crime - even murder. As they refuse to use dark magic, the Hit Wizard Department is charged with their capture. So far, however, they haven't found any useful leads... More information on current plots can be found in the 'News' subforum of Character Debris. The MMs are made up entirely of original characters, and everyone is welcome to create one if they fancy it. Upcoming Plots Within the next five or six months, the Ministry of Magic will fall to Voldemort, who is currently progressing his spies through the Ministry's hierarchy. Once the government is lost, the wizarding world will all but collapse. The Order of the Phoenix will no longer be the only group of vigilantes; honourable Aurors and Hit Wizards will also create their own factions. As to whether Hogwarts can hold out...

Sanctuary and Canon A few of our members have played canon characters for years (actual years!) together. When I created Sanctuary, the decision was made to take it AU so that the canon timeline didn't bring the roleplaying to a sudden end for those players. This means that any and all canons are up for new futures. We do ask that the characters be the same as portrayed in Harry Potter - no gay Remuses (says the Moony/Padfoot 'shipper with sadness) or bunnylike Bellatrixes. In this world, they're the same people, they're just not going to die or get imprisoned anytime soon. One final note worth mentioning is that the laws of the canonverse are still in place. No flying without brooms, sparkly vampires, or velociraptor Animagus forms*, the usual. *Wow, I just realised how frickin' awesome that would be.
