Your Input Needed

Check out this poll to give your opinion on whether we should keep the option of school-posting or let it go. Do bear in mind that we have very few students and nobody's posted there since April. For those who'd like to post adults at Hogwarts, the Wizarding World forum would be the new thread destination.

Board Tweaks

Due to decreased space in our board wrappers, the full Trophy Reward system is going to take a vacation, probably permanently. There are a few of the big'uns left, just in case someone had their eye on one. Oh, and the bunny award is still up for grabs because I just can't bring myself to get rid of something that frickin' adorable. If I do say so myself >>;;

New Staffy Things

Some of you may have noticed the strange influx of one-shot applicants, who post their application and are never heard from again. Perhaps Sanctuary's often whacky code is eating these poor visitors. Maybe we have a malevolent ghost who nips in and changes their password and e-mail. It could even be Big Brother attempting to keep people away from our socially-rebellious selves!

Whatever the cause, we're implementing a new system. If the applicant disappears for a week, we'll move their application to the Hiatus forum and attempt to contact them. A week after that, we'll whack them into Old Biographies and send out a hopeful PM asking if they could give us some tips on improving. True, the average drive-by apper won't respond, but maybe we'll be surprised sometimes and we can learn something from this (very odd) lesson.

All who go on a permanent ramble post-application are of course more than welcome to return. If you wish to re-apply the same biography, we'll just move it back to the proper forum. Beware, though - if you do the same thing three times, we will ask you not to apply again. I set up member accounts upon acceptance, and if you make me do it three times for absolutely no good reason, I will ~~cry~~ Be Scary And Angry. I'm ~~almost~~ sure I'm capable of it.

Lovely Leah has returned and would like to offer both Marlene McKinnon and Regulus Black for all kinds of mischief. Yes, Regulus is ex-alive by this time in canon. You'd practically be plotting with the walking dead! How can you resist that?

Our beloved Cora needs some more plottage, my doves. She offers a goodie and a baddie for your plotting pleasure.

Cyclical Nightmare is a thread containing Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, James Potter and Lily ~~Evans~~ Potter. Just exchange 'Lily' for 'Peter' and it's 100% Marauder fun! Man, we need a Peter. Anyway, for those of you who are perhaps eating dinner and want something to read, this is certainly worth your nomming time.

New Members

We've had quite a few new players join us recently, all of whom deserve a shout-out and a bit of spotlight. We begin with Ari, who brings Coco Calloway to us. You can find her contact information in the Contact List and her plottage thread is right here.

Next up is Thestral, who plays our Remus. You can give her welcome cookies in the Introduction thread if you haven't said hello yet, and you can find her plottage thread over here.

I'd also like to throw a little welcome to Nina and Danica, who will get a proper spotlight once they've had a chance to get themselves settled in a bit.
