Over here we have a poll about possible layout/skin changes. Would you like to see a sidebar instead of a welcome box? Would you prefer vice versa? Or both/neither/kittens? It's up to you, you Very Important People.

Board Tweaks
I'll be tearing around the Information area, snipping things to make them shorter and sorting them out into easily-navigated topics. The Hogwarts Information subforum will be relocated somewhere less prominent, and the Hogwarts forum is taking a permanent hiatus (as voted on by you). Students will still be playable by those who want them, so the Student Biographies subforum is staying put. Threads that take place in Hogwarts can be played out in the Wizarding World forum.

Right now, I'm working on some new buttons and maintitles to spruce the board up and add a little colour. Once I'm finished, I'll show you the options and see which ones you like best.

New Staffy Things
At the moment, I'm the only staffer; Sanc has the same staff-turnover rate as McDonald's. This means it might take me a while to sort applications, create graphics, set up accounts and the like. I'm happy to do it all by my onesie, but delays are inevitable, especially if I need to take a couple of days off or something. If anyone wants to join staff and help out, just send me a little PM or hit me up on Y!M and we'll talk.

Links Worth Clicking
Tricks and Treats is our Hallowe'en party thread. The setting is explained in the first post, and guest posting has been turned on so that players who want to keep their characters disguised can do so. Feel free to link your character's costume to your post, or describe it in as much detail as you want. Watch out, though; the Mudblood Martyrs are going to gatecrash.

Keep an eye on this topic if you're watching out for plot-related threads. It's all fun, games and personal plottage right now, but the PCs are just down the hall from Death Eaters who are holding a Seer captive. Expect bloodshed, accidental flashing (long story) and some pissed-off MMs by the end of it.

This week, we have four new players to smother in cookies and ~~nom on~~ not eat. The introductions thread is the place to go to say hi to our newest asylum members, so head on over if you haven't already!
