Here we have a couple rules, most of them are pretty basic and you'll have seen them all before, and we'll have a couple that are different from other sites. We do ask you follow them, though they are very much guide lines really..

REGISTRATION: On this site I only require people to make a primary account, if your use to making more and need the different accounts to stay organized, I will not stop you. I think as long as you have a place where you can list the different characters your using or playing, that's fine with me! I will grant everyone who makes an account admin power, so I suggest coming in with your pen name, like mine is Camie!

CHARACTER CREATION: I am giving absolutely no limit on characters, you can have as many as you want, and since there won't be a real character application (accept for those who want too, and I do suggest making a thread to state how old the character is, their name, what world they're gonna be from and possibly a little back story. Again, guidelines really). There are going to be plenty of different settings on this site, so it's only fair to everyone if they keep up with who is where and who is playing who.

This site is Mature so I will require characters to at least be fifteen and older. Unless they are children to your characters and you are NPCing them, I have no issues with them being younger as long as you aren't putting them in any sexual situations. Dats not cool man.

Last but not least, if your going to make your character a psychologist, or have some kind of disorder, Please, research what you're going to give them or have them be a profession in. I understand that not everyone is going to have doctor knowledge, and that's fine, I just ask you have a basic idea of the illness or profession you're giving your character. It'll help give your character more depth! Plus it also helps you not look ignorant, I only request it for your own good~

CREATING WORLDS: While I know there are lots of old stories people are gonna wanna pick up, and re-create worlds/settings for stories, I'm going to suggest you label things properly. I'm leaving some of the supernatural things that this site was originally made for around, though that's not my idea. I'm just lazy and if people want to use the already made boards that'll be fine, just put in the description what universe it's taking place in and it should be fine!

I will ask you to make a category, Label it what you want, for example, We Would Rather, it was an old harry potter site that a lot of us loved. What I'd like to see in the black bar is "Harry Potter" Then under it you can make forums like "We Would rather, and then to click on that, it'll open up a whole new realm of sub boards and they can be created as you need them, or you can simply just enjoy making threads under that forum. It keeps the index from getting super long and taking forever to scroll to the bottom! dats all I'm sayin' boys and girls

And those who create certain worlds can create their own rules for that group, like character creation, how things work, you know, the works!

If you don't know HOW to do it, simply ask me or someone who knows how to create boards and categories and I'll do my best to get down what you request! Keep in mind that I am very busy in real life atm and if I can't get to it right away, I apologize!

CANONS: Canons from all worlds are acceptable, unless other wise stated from a creator of a forum! pretty simple enough.

POSTING AND WORD COUNT: On HoP there will be no word count or word limit, please be respectful to your fellow rper and don't give them two thousand words a post unless your partner is able to keep up. I will NOT allow one liners, please try to at least get one good sized paragraph out for your partner and try to match up to their posts (a good medium for experienced players is about 350-600 words a post)

I understand life getting in the way and making things hard to keep up with, so if you can't post, just let your buddies know whats going down, the one account will help people send PM's to their buddies and make sure they get them! So don't worry about it if life eats you up, just be considerate of your partners!

As for posting, I do suggest posting pictures of the characters you'll be using in the post/thread. I don't care about templets, but if you wanna use them, knock yourself out. I also suggest listing at the top or bottom of your post who is all in the post/thread! I do like some organization

BE RESPECTFUL AND NO GOD MODDING: This is pretty self explanatory, if you really need me to explain this, this probably isn't the site for you. Please do not attempt to kill you're fellow player, if you "kill" a PC with out the puppet masters permission, that will be an auto-ban for the disrespectful player, if you want back, I expect a formal written apology to the player and myself. Just ask or make it clear what you want to do/be done to your character! Everyone wins in the end with that. Though I don't expect this to be a problem since everyone will know each other, so lets not hurt any feelings shall we? : )

NOT SAFE FOR WORK: As this is a mature board, there will be sex, which is okay, just... PLEASE LABEL YOUR THREAD AS MATURE, NC-17 OR NSFW SO PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANNA SEE THAT DON'T STUMBLE INTO IT! It'd be really dumb to get fired for a thread that someone accidentally clicked on and a boss happens to walk by and looked over your shoulder.

GRAPHICS: You can have whatever you want as an avatar or signature. Try not to stretch the board please, and try to keep things PG-13 with pictures. Don't need a bunch of porny avatars around, some people get flustered with that kind of stuff. Other than that, i don't really care, edit it up to try and get a snip of all your characters in a signature, whatever, be creative hehe
