Ok so one of my first RP's that I was ever a part of was probably one of my favorites ever. Me and Aervane were both members of that RP but we never got to finish it and had the idea to start it up again from the start here and do it right this time.

The story so far...

A very powerful man named Lord Lyle Edenbauch has pretty much alligned most of the Northern factions together under one banner, the banner of the Triak Alliance. He did this though treaties, espionage, and flat out war. His motives are simple; take over all of Atrolis. Bottom line, he has an immense army at his disposal, larger than any seen by any living man and under him are some powerful henchmen that can do his bidding at will.

The Imperials refuse to acknowledge the existence of this Alliance because so far it has not intruded on Imperial lands, but instead terrorized the Free Provinces. The Free Provinces of Gar'Fald, Ahndra, and Callisian Isles have alligned themselves to fight back against the Triaks. At this time however the Triaks are at war with the free province of Nar'Hanna and are pushing hard into their territory. The free provinces have already given support but more is needed...

The story picks up in Gar'Fald where the Duke has called for a mercenary army be formed to help combat the Triaks in the north. This army is led by the Captain of Gar'Fald, Silos. Basically this is where the story takes off, our characters called upon as a back up force in the North and the journey and eventual battle.

Let me know what everyone thinks of this...oh and here is a link to the original thread, but it will be significantly different

it will be significantly different

...as in, acceptable not-stupid posts and less rampant 'OME HOW COULD I EVER HAVE THOUGHT THAT WAS COOL?!' moments.

But yeah, you know I'm in. Also! Also! Guess what, Cara?

WE'RE GONNA FOLLOW THE RULES ON THIS ONE!

How nice of you luther, but I already ask aerv to stand in four me, so he knows he can make it. And the rules say three? I normaly go by four, three other then the person making it.

Wait...this is different than the Imperial Wars? But the plot seems almost the same...

It doesn't really matter as far as my characters are concerned, I guess. I just kinda made them up, anyway.

Not really. In Imperial Wars, the Imperium is up to something that we don't quite understand, what with them trying to be all nice about this treaty and stuff. This is more of a straightforward hack-'n'-slash: no politics, no intrigue, just mountains and mountains of hacked-off limbs and the dusty remains of broken spirits.

Hey, PuTs, will this be canon? I mean, will this erase the events of the original Triak Wars; are you no longer going to mention how Spore and the Vampiric Legions came to Aiden's aid, or will this just be for amusement?

Ah, I see. Still sounds good. lol

I think I was confused because both of them use the Imperium and the Free Provinces, so I didn't catch the difference.
