Home of the Pilia. Seine is a land of eternal rain. The meeting point of many rivers; lakes, streams and waterfalls are everywhere. Seine is a beautiful and magical place.

Floating from the mouth of one of the beautiful rivers of Avonensce and into the watery Seine was an unusual site. A house, or rather a mansion of a house, long and narrow to fit in the confines of a river, seemed to be drifting lazily with the ebb and flow of the water. To look at it, one might wonder at the fact that it did not topple over. Made entirely of wood, the structure might have been more ordinary on land, yet there it was floating down the river.

"Papa! Papa! The water here is so sparkly and shiny, I want it! Can we keep it!?" A pale child was shouting as it ran to and fro on what looked to be the front porch, with steps leadings directly into the water. Out from the front door stepped a figure not seen in the kingdoms in several ages.

If I give you the pretty water will you be quiet? He said with some annoyance.

"Oh yes papa!" The child shouted as it danced about the porch.

"No... Wasn't it only yesterday that you promised to be quiet if I gave you the pretty water nymph, and the day before that you wanted that fisherman. And how many countless fish, birds, crabs, and poisonous snakes have you spotted that you just had to have? Saying every time 'I'll be quiet papa...' Go play with those toys and leave me alone. I like the water where it is."

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" The child started to wail, highlighting the fact that it was missing both its eyes. "They's all broked!!

"Fine... you want water... here..." He pulled in a rope that had a bucket attached to it and dumped the water on the porch. "Here..."

"Yaaaay" the child shouted and ran back inside. The puddle of water slowly followed her in.

"No... I don't think my azaleas would fare well here at all..."

The barge/house floated lazily for a few days before striking land a few days later. Locals found no inhabitants inside, but swiftly burned it saying that they had an odd feeling the sofas were watching them.... and they hated the paint job...
