ones i remember...
112-trey dorrell won it, can't remember anyone else but he handled everyone 119-kyle garcia, sam eccles, and some tough southeast kid 125-hunter bright, josh smith 130-dustin reed, josh durham, austin goyette 135-sean scruggs, josh ramirez 140-adrian gregory, i think a mcloud kid second 145-jared porter and travyon lee met in the semi's, great match porter won 3-1, porter won tourny and travyon got third 160-austin schafer, some mcloud kid can't remember upper weights but wasn't many ppl |

Dorell won by a last second reversal to win 4-2 in the finals.

Was Union Takedown tough at all this year?? Muskogee brought alot of wrestlers last year and wondering if they did the same this year.

112-trey dorrell won it, can't remember anyone else but he handled everyone he wrestled a kid from McLoud (Mouser) and I dont think he handled him he was about to get turned in a double chicken wing but the ref stoped it then he got a reversal at the end to win McLoud and South East both had some realy tough kids. Who won HWT. Tournament finished at 9:00pm, Mats were empty all day. |

Some McLoud Kid? Lets give them their due. 103- McCormick beat Leslie (West Moore) in a close match and then lost to him in another very close match for third. Mouser easily made it to the finals and gave Dorrel all he wanted and then some. 135 Mike Lisher (3rd in state) finished third. 140 Josh Parker (4th in state) lost in the finals to Adrian Gregory by 3 pts. 145 Anthony Oneal finished in 4th, and 160 Austin Gunter (2x state qualifier, 1x state placer) finished in second. Overall they took 8 wrestlers with 7 placers. I just feel like they are not getting any respect when someone gets on here and says some McLoud kid.

OK, I read it and I think you're being a little sensitive. The guy obviously wasn't from McLoud and doesn't know your wrestlers so off the top of his head he told what he remembered.

not tryin to disrespect dude, im from 6a so i mostly only know kids from 6a schools and a couple other little schools...i saw several kids with mcloud singlets in the finals so i said that...there were lots of other kids in the finals who i couldn't remember them or their school at all...most of the mcloud kids i saw wrestled pretty well

Dude,
Who cares?? It is an open tournament early in November first of all and not the state tournament. Secondly, unless the kid is a returning state champ most people from other classes are not going to know... much less care who the kid is. Third, wins and losses this early mean absolutely nothing. |
