Interests Sailboat re-building, racing, cruising. Present boat: 7m former bermudan sloop (23' cruiser/racer) re-building into open gaff-rigged day-boat. Alloy spars, ballasted daggerboard, outboard. Hull balsa core/grp. Freeboard increased, sealed floor above w/line so as to recover from a knock-down (fully self-draining). Project began September 2009 - aiming to launch by Easter 2012. With dagger-board up (lifted with a crane like a Melges 24) boat can be kept ashore on its custom trolley, afloat it will be kept for the season on a swinging mooring.
