Mm.. interesting. (so what's your year?)
As for me... Harvey Mudd College (you should know.) CS or E.E. Class of 2012 Double. Nothing special. As for the rest of the stuff, I've only "been" to like 2 out of the many parties on the 5C's (didn't stay, didn't drink, or it was in my dorm and I stayed in my room, etc). Some are just waay too sketchy. Advice? Look forward to college. After being at Mudd for a while, now I know why college students say college the best thing ever. |

Hm... well okay let's see...
Cornell University Biological Sciences Class of 2012 Triple!! Forced triple.... One thing I've noticed about college is that you had better expect not to get much sleep if you want a social life and want to keep up with your academics at the same time. Well, I'm not really keeping up with academics too well, nor am I a social butterfly since I haven't gone to a party yet (yeah I know what a loser...), but I'm having a good time (minus the fact that I get next to no sleep on average). Point is.. college is a lot different from high school... it's fun.. stressful... crazy at times... depressing too but hopefully it's all good in the end XD |

Wellesley College (if you're not sure what this is, this is the college that Hillary Clinton went to.)
Classical Studies (and Studio Art) Classics most consists of ancient Greek, Latin, history, and some archeology classes. Class of 2012. I live in a double. My roomie reads my webcomic but doesn't game/doesn't get it. I just pulled my first non-academic all nighter, waching Tin Man. |

Hahahahah, I just made a thread like this in the misc, up to you to delete or move Benson.
UCSC '12 Proposed Poli Sci, but I might swap to economics, hopefully global economics. Errrr, I guess the work is very different, it is sort of hard to explain but once you get used to it I think college work is more fun than highschool work. As for my social life... I'm not really sure what to say? It's sort of hard to meet people to hang out with consistently, but at the same time it's not hard to go to a party or something and meet people. But yeah it's only been like 2 months in college and I've got a shitload of stories. |

Otago University, one of the only two places in this country that has a med school. Finished my first year in October, now I just have to wait on the results to see if the med school will take me. Amazing year learned so much in a both lecture halls and pubs.
All I can really say is you've got to make the place work for you and watch out for the fresher five I've still got to try and jog mine off. |

Second Year Undeclared (probably Global Studies?) I've only ever lived in a single. Yes UCSB is a party school, so I've been to my share of parties, but that scene gets old after a while. It's is a really cool place though, beautiful campus, great weather, and you see the ocean everyday Right now though I'm studying at Keio University in Japan. I really recommend that everyone study abroad if they can. I know its really cliche to say, but, it really is a life changing experience. I'm here until July and I already am starting to think that won't feel long enough. Oh, and let me tell you, the Japanese have it so easy when it comes to college. I think its because high school is so hard and kids work their ass's off to get into a good college, that once they get there, they really don't care about grades and working anymore. Also there really isn't the concept of GPA over here, graduating and getting a diploma is the only thing that matters. |
