Okay, let's be realistic here for a moment guys. I luv this comic, believe me, but what is everybody's thoughts on how far this comic will go in terms of popularity?

I think that if the members put a little responsibility on our shoulders and advertise subtly among their friends, this comic and forum has serious potential. The biggest problem, I think, is that we're going to get a new comic, be able to discuss it for a few days, and then the forum's activity drops tremendously up until the next comic.

Well yeah, that pretty much happens for every webcomic out there.
Although I suppose if we started RPGing and doing forum games that forum popularity would be boosted.

Hm, I think I'll blatantly advertise this among friends.

Every new comic that I like seems to die in short order. That being the case I save every new strip of new comics that comes out, so now I've got an archive of dead/offline strips collected. I'm not kidding.

That said, I don't see this comic not gaining a following. The only thing that could kill it, is lack of updates for a longish period of time.

Yeah, I think it's key that the comic travels either by word of mouth or through other forums.

Another way to spread the word is to advertise to those guild members that you have in World of Warcraft :P ... problem is I don't own World of Warcraft.

Anyway, the updating seems pretty steady at this point so that shouldn't be a problem.
