But the only funny thing is that I don't know how to give myself advice.
I've got this post dramatic thing
I've got this tattoo of a ring that lies
around my wedding finger and that'ss where I want to state this claim.
That I've got to learn to live and dream

The Curtain || The curtain refers to what everyone sees when they look at little Poseidon. Everyone knows him because he’s not only adorable but very charismatic. When walking into a classroom people tend to crowd him and start chatting his ears off until the teacher begins class. There’s some kind of aura about him that draws people to him. He finds it humorous that people he just met tend to spill their life story to him even though they just met. It’s a valuable tool and most days he’s okay with getting flocked. So what kinds of people like to associate themselves with him? <P>
GIRLS || For some reason these lovely ladies like to catch Mr. Oceanus’ attention. For a career he is sweet and sentimental. Unlike a lot of men (especially careers) he listens to their problems and attempts to figure out solutions (however trivial or petty they may be). He strives not to be judgmental because there is no person he hates more than a judgmental prick. And although he does find girls attractive he doesn’t think that it would be smart of him to have a girlfriend. <P>
CAREERS || Even the older careers like to think of him as their younger brother or their protégé. During training he’s focused and determined. He likes to get things done and to get the most out of everything he does. Sometimes he pushes himself too hard but he doesn’t care if his efforts end up hurting himself. In a sick, twisted way he likes to feel the pain of his muscles aching and his lungs burning—it makes him feel alive. The young kid hasn’t developed a whole lot of muscles but he’s unbelievably fast on land and even faster in the water. His favorite kind of weapons to use are: throwing knives, a staff, and spears. On occasion he uses a triton because of his namesake and he feels awesome. <P>
ADULTS || They adore him. Why? Mainly because he is well mannered and respectful. He always says please and thank you and whenever he sees someone in help, he doesn’t hesitate to offer a helping hand. Old folks especially love him and reward him by telling him about their past and what life was like before Panem. <P>
FAMILY || He loves his family to pieces and they love him just as much. He’s proud of Nymph and what she’s accomplished. She’s the kind of sister he looks up and he appreciates her being a role model for Doris. Speaking of Doris, she’s his twin. The pair are inseparable and are there for each other whenever life gets tough. He knows that even though spends a fair amount of time away from her that they’re still close and have that strong twin bond. Then there’s Swan, his baby sister. He probably pampers her the most by giving her hugs and carrying her around on his back even after a hard day of training.<P>
OTHERS || Those that are hurting seek out Poseidon above all else. These are the people that are depressed, suicidal, or just plain hurting. He tends to soothe their fears or doubts and comforts them. He’s very gentle with them and he listens to them—he basically plays therapist but he doesn’t mind. He enjoys helping people and having them get rid of their pain or whatever they’re dealing with, in return it makes him feel like he’s done something good for a change.
<P>
BEHIND THE CURTAIN || Despite listening to everyone else’s problems he never talks about his own, and nobody ever asks either. The fact of the matter is, Poseidon is depressed and he doesn’t understand why. He knows that his life is good and he should be thankful (and he is) but his depression throws him off. For some reason he gets tidal-like waves of emotion that crash into him at random times. He can feel so lost, alone, and empty that he contemplates swimming into the ocean and letting the waves drag him under. At times his depression is the reason why he pushes himself so hard during career training, to the point that he’s in so much pain that he could keel over and die. It makes him feel again. <P>
He has no idea where the depression came from but he just can’t shake it off his trail. It’s also the reason why he’s never had a girlfriend. He doesn’t feel as if he’s ever meant to have one. He fears that he’s damaged beyond repair and no one could ever love him and even if someone could, he’s too afraid to let that person try. If he had a choice he’d rather let himself get hurt continuously than hurt someone else, especially someone he cares about. That being said, he hasn’t told Doris (or anyone) about what he feels internally. He doesn’t want to scare them or have them worry over him. There are times when it was bad enough that he contemplated telling Doris about it but he always would chicken out. <P>
He hopes that he’ll eventually grow out of his depression and learn to love himself but if all else fails, he’ll live his life through the people he helps (as selfish as that sounds).<P>
QUIRKS ;; loves playing the piano, enjoys creating things and giving people home made gifts, addicted to cheese, avid reader, collects things (rocks, feathers, seashells, coral), mutts intrigue him along with folklore and history, he doesn't need to wear glasses but he thinks it makes him look attractive.
