The state of Mirthone is home to a variety of inhabitants. Until recently, one group had been sentenced to live as the diseased secret of the shadows. It all changed when from the night arose a group of powerful, subhuman creatures: vampires. This unexpected revelation caused a shift in power.

Now, Mirthone is widely ruled by three dominating clans, but their rule is not without discontent. Strains between Immortals, Mortals, and clans are quickly rising; leaving many to wonder how long before these tensions come to a head. And in a world where blood is everything, whose future is safe?
