The shop sign read “The Arms of Heaven” in bold red letters.

A stench filled the air of the small shop; a stench that Adrina was oh so used to by now as she opened the door a little. It smelled like a mix between a garage and an attic. She opened the door to the shop all the way but with a little difficulty since she had a couple boxes filling her hands. Having to carry them from to the shop from a few blocks away was tiring especially when they were that heavy. They were important too, or they were important to the store at least. It was just a bunch of new parts for a weapons upgrade that she caught wind to a few days ago. She had a few people out spreading the word of said upgrade so she expected the shop to be extra busy for a week or two.

Once she was inside she kicked the door shut behind her then walked over to the counter setting the boxes on it with a sigh. It was times like these where she was happy to have these mechanical limbs, if she hadn’t then she wouldn’t have been able to carry them. She took off her tan coat and stuck it on the coat hanger behind the counter so that she could put her work attire on. Moving to the back, she grabbed the white lab coat from the chair it was hanging on and slipped it on her. In front of the chair, there was a desk with a computer showing the specs of the upgrades and how they would affect each weapon. It wasn’t all that different from the one before it but the people who bought from her didn’t seem to know the difference and just wanted to get their hands on anything that was new and better than what they had already.

Adrina walked to the dirty windows displaying small and legal weapons. She flipped the sign back to open with a tired look on her face. She wasn’t fatigued, it was more of a tired of doing the same thing every single day just to appease some old man kind of tired. On the upside, the thugs never bullied her or was a victim of theft. The same thugs who would’ve done that if it was her store protected her. It was a humorous irony. Turning to rest against the counter, she opened up the boxes and took out the separate parts.

Adrina inspected each part and felt the presence of the individual piece to see the shape they were. All in all everything seemed to be in order. With a few modifications then she would be able to make them about 10-15% better too. She would leave that for later since her goal was to put them away for now. Grabbing a hand full, she went to the back room of the store and set them in a safe compartment, sorting them accordingly.

A man was sitting in a chair settled in the back room of the small shop and storage facility. A cold chill filling the room it seemed. Unseen to the women but a couple thugs had been frozen and broken into peices and stuffed into the garbage bins around back of the building. Heads and legs arms even all broken off like a statue broken in peices to be moved. His legs were crossed and heels resting on a table. black leather boots shined and rather well taken care off. Dark denim jeans leading up to a rather rather fine black trench coat. A dark red scarf covering most of the mans face. It appeared as if he had been waiting for the woman. The bounty hunter A bounty hunter famous for action but now publicly known to criminals until they saw the icy form he could take. He was strangely calm for just sitting in the center of one of the many illegal dealership building connected to a strong criminal crime family. He figured out along time ago hits worked there ways up for bounty and reputation if you did your job right as a hunter.

To protect someones life they'd give up their boss and it was a never ending song of screams and screeches revealing someone higher each time more powerfull and better connected. He had left a few targets behind bodies frozen at the neck headless. It was all he needed to collect payments after all. The woman would most likely just think him a connection or perhaps a bandit. It was hard to tell. He mere shifted his gaze as he sat in the chair lazily and spoke in a soft voice as a light chilling mist spilled from his mouth. "I hear you have some interesting owners to this fine establishment....Why don't you sit down and tell me a bit about that hmm?" The last part of his sentence making it seem like he wasn't exactly asking.

The voice seemed to come from nowhere. Those dull blue/gray eyes peered up towards the voice, now ignoring her sorting. Adrina Saw a man sitting comfortably covered in black clothing except for a red scarf. A mist spilled from his mouth as he spoke of the store and who owned it. Why he wanted to know of that old man and his family, she didn't know.

Adrina stood up straight and turned to him directly, her hair falling back into place. She didn't know how he got in the store nor how she didn't see him right away. HE also seemed to be swaying her into talking rahter than asking which was rude of him. If he wanted to know of her boss then she wouldn't mind sharing her information. Walking over to him, she sat down with a blank expression.

"I would like to know who you are and how you got into this establishment, then I'll say what you wish to know." Adrina spoke bluntly as she shifted her gaze to him. This person, didn't seem like a normal bandit but she wasn't the one to judge in the first place. Since she didn't want to be judged for her looks she didn't do it to others and it's also the reason why she covered her arms and legs.

He scoffed lightly with a under breath chuckle. But it made sense that anyone working for such a business wouldn't show fear easily. The humor in it was most people's courage was just a show. If she'd known the usual muscle was in pieces in the garbage bin round back she may not have been so casual. "Lets just say I'm here on business." He rose his eyes lightly too lock eyes with the woman. Only the upper part of his face was visible. Those cold eyes locking with hers as he set so casually. He waited for he response as the room dropped temperature rather quickly. It seemed to drop five then ten degrees in a matter of minutes. He didnt' speak but it seemed like he was waiting for her to sit down and explain what he asked. Her next response would dictate his movement. He was sure what he'd have to do. He'd hoped she cooperate. But he knew in most cases that just sadly wasn't the case.

His slight scoff would’ve annoyed her old self but now she only looked at him with little emotion. When his eyes met hers, she stared right back into them, only because that was the polite thing to do when speaking to someone. Though, his answer wasn’t what she was expecting, it seemed that he wanted to avoid answering the question. Right after that, she noticed the temperature of the room drop, her estimation was that it wasn’t too much to make someone get too cold but enough to notice. Adrina wasn’t sure of the cause, a theory included the man and another included that she may have opened a window in the store somewhere and she forgot about it, but the latter wasn’t likely.

“I see, but that just tells me why you’re here but not who you are nor how you got in. I’d appreciate it if you could give me the information I desire.” By the way he talked he would be seen as a curious person to be suspicious of, but his actions said that he was just another ruffian that didn’t really know these parts. Adrina crossed one leg over the other and thought of how she should deal with such a mixed up person who’s actions didn’t support their voice. It would be the same if the person talked like a thug but acted like collective criminal.

“I see no point in telling you anything otherwise.” She made sure that she was known to be straight to the point. Her gaze strayed to the open door to the front of the shop. The possibility of customers coming in and no one up in front to watch them/talk to them was growing by the minute and she didn’t want to anger any customers then lose profit. Her mind was getting off track of what was going on in front of her so she shook her head a bit then looked back at her current companion.

A sigh was heard as he pulled his legs from the table. the black leather from his shoes dragging on the light wood finish making a small slick sounds and a little dust seemed to kick off from the floor as he planted them both on the ground. He stood up and walked over towards the woman in the sit. (Figured you were sitting since she crossed her legs, or the way you wrote made me think she was) He walked over with a bit of a lazy stride his black coat covering most his body hiding any places that could have weapons. He stood infront of her and rose his hand pointing it towards the door. He jerked his arm like he was smacking the air and a spike of ice seemed to materialize. A ice cickle slamming into the wood of the door causing it to stab and pin the door shut. He'd then lunge forward trying to tackle her out of the chair grabbing for her wrist thinking she wouldn't be that strong for a small girl. He'd try to pin her waist down with his own and hold her by the wrist his eyes twisting blue almost like ice his hands would begin to shift to a light blue color as skin slowly turned dark and eventually the hands and arms leading into the coat sleeves were slowly becoming see through. It was as if they were ice themselves. Mostly it was purely a intimidation act. "Now listen here darlin. I'm not the kind a guy you fuck with and don't expect to get fucked back for it. Now I know who owns this shop and who runs these business's. Now your gonna tell me so I can find them. IF you don't I can find someone else who can and turn your head in for whatever little bounty it has....if I can prove your involved with this shop they'll at least give me a little.....or I could sell you to someone else for more creative things." His eyes of ice hid emotion. He didn't like to harm women. He'd hoped he coudl what he wanted the easy way.

Adrina grew to wonder what he was doing as he stood up and walked in front of her. Suddenly an ice formation grew from his arms and pierced the door, shutting it roughly. The nerves in her ears were hit which made her eyes open more. The little mechanical chip screeched in her head, making her sit up in full attention. It was as if it was warning her of immanent danger.

Out of nowhere, the man jumped at her. the chip buzzed louder in her ears and Adrina listened, evading his maneuvers by jumping to the side and into a roll. She came out of the roll and smacked against the wall of the small room to his right. Her arm raised and the sounds of gears filled the air as her wrist and hand opened up turning into a firearm. the half artificial girl pointed it straight at him. Her defenses were high and she now knew that she wasn't dealing with any no good thug.

His words said it all. However, she was still confused on why she couldn't get any information, it was very simple knowledge. "Sir, I'm not being difficult. I'll comply to all of your questions." Her voice hinted both confusion and frustration. This ice man gave her feelings that she hadn't received in a while. It gave her a kind of adrenaline rush. Her arms were shaking, she had never been in a confrontation like this before so it was all fairly new to her.

"All I ask it for something to call the ice man standing before me." Adrina spoke as her voice continued to hint at the little emotion emitting from her.
