+ The night sky is rather empty...though mysteriously enough people are starting to say they see more stars in the sky when new people appear here. Perhaps there are as many stars as there are people here?


Nexus Origin Holidays
Winter Festival ^{Dec 6 thru Jan 6}
A hybrid holiday celebrated by the people brought to Nexus. Everyone celebrates in their own ways, usually celebrated in a large group with food, bells, candles, decorating a tree, and gift giving if wanted~


Seasons
There doesn't seem to be any season change here...


Current Character Form
It seems the only intelligent beings here to interact with are ordinary humans.


Current Character Status
Almost everyone is in a state of cooperation, and are all currently inhabiting 'the island'.

Log entry: 'The island' research and notes...


Weather and Such
There is no weather or change in climate whatsoever, the only change that takes place is night and day, both are 12 hours long. Temperature is hospitable, not to cool & not to warm.


Lifeforms Present
Various species of flora (plant life) inhabit the Nexus Origin, along with a few mammals, and sea fish, besides humans showing up.


Land 1: The Island
There's no name for it yet...nor is there much on it. It is a fair sized island, and flat excluding small slops made of sand dunes. One can look and see right across to the other side of the island. There is no trace of life at all besides plant life. The island ground is made up of packed down sand, with tall grasses, short shrub life and a few trees to make up the inland. Towards the center of the island, off to the west a bit there is a fresh water spring, it's water is clear and clean, it is large enough, and the temperature is nice enough to bath in. The beach is made of soft clean sand, not a seashell to be found, there is however seaweed brought in by the waves of an endless sea that seems to stretch on forever.
Character made Landmarks - A small camp site has developed on the west coast...

Dark green signifies the bigger more mature trees, they are of various species but seem to be denser near the southwest & northeast costs, as well as by the spring. Lighter green equals the smaller brush, bushes and young short trees. The rest of the inland ground has long green-golden grasses. There also appears to be a shallow shelf around the island before a drop off begins to deeper darker waters...

A Random Event


Weather and Such
The weather is balmy, but also quite humid. For the most part, clouds cover up large portions of the sky, and it often drizzles rain.


Lifeforms Present
There is a unique type of tall grass that is native to this island, light green and grows taller then your head. There are also a few trees, most are few and far between but offer thick branches for those who are looking for something to climb.
As for fauna, there are many different types of insects on this island, bees, dragonflys, and flys quite large, about the size of a 3 year old, but known to be all harmless so far...except for the bees.
And then there are these HUGE frogs, as big as a large as a mini van, they don't seem to hostile, but also incredibly undaunted by human interaction, in fact it will most likely just sit there. But if one could somehow learn how to master this beast it could be used as a mode of travel, or even as a weapon.



Land 3: Frog Isle

Character made Landmarks --- Atlas's S.H.I.P. (Space hoping interdenominational portal) crash landed on this island. It, and the small surrounding crash site can be found in the heart of the Inland grass forest.

Little is known about this island, as no one has explored it yet. It is quite a dainty little island, but big enough for a days worth exploring. The darker green circles signify trees, the lighter green is an unusual human height tall grass native to this island. There also seems to be a shallow reef surrounding the island that stretches for miles before a drop off begins to deeper darker waters.
