"We're almost there." Atlas smiled deviously, "Your going to love this planet...." he said shifting to the other side of the controls fliping a switch,
suddenly the Ship lurched aqwardly and Atlas's smile fell, "Wh-what's this?" he said, his eyes searching the screens to find out what was happening, suddenly the Ship lurched again even more violently, "My god...it...can't be? Another..rift...TANITH GRAB ONTO SOMETHING!" he roared, seconds after he spoke the Ship began to spin and shake the room around them began to blur into an incoherent mess of colors and shapes, and then they began to fall........


Atlas was dizzy and disorientated, almost knocked out since he was tossed across the room, he blinked trying to crawl up to the controls, ease her out of crashing but it was to late...

If the Ship spiraling out of control was bad, then the crash was even worse... The force drove the Ship into the earth half a foot, Atlas with eyes wide open despite his disorientation whent flying once again to the other side of the room, the impact also broke the lock on the door leaving a perfect hole for him to fall out of, "I'm getting to old for thiiss..." he cried softly as he fell out and tumbled onto the ground, wich was clear of high grass, for the Ships heavy landing, had created a small clearing in the sea of grass.

A small smile broke out on Tanith's face and she laughed. "Oh I'd better, especially after that LAST one," she said walking to the opposite side of the console. When the SHIP lurched, Tanith's smile dropped and she knew something bad was going to happen.

At Atlas's yelling, Tanith gripped the console as best she could and yelped as she was thrown to her side. Tanith groaned and watched as the world around her spun. When the SHIP crashed, Tanith was thrown again and she screeched as she seemed to follow Atlas out of the SHIP.

"Oh... oh that's painful," she cried, wincing as pain raked her body. "Um... so about that planet?" she asked, trying to make light of the situation as best she could given the current circumstances regardless of the fact that she hadn't yet opened her eyes to see the world they were on.

Atlas didn't speak right away...his disorientation was quickly lifting and sudden realization invaded his mind, he parted his lips lightly breathing through is mouth, then his eyes fluttered open again, his hands gripped the ground, his nails digging into the earth. In seconds he was on his stomach, his arms lifting his chest so his head could bob back and forth wildly looking at the surrounding area. When he ascertained that the place was hidden and secluded, at least for the time being he quickly rushed to Tanith's side before she could open her eyes, "Tanith..." he spoke softly his voice seemed more smooth there was no more feline growl to it, "You have to trust me now." he spoke, keeping his voice calm, "Don't open your eyes...Don't open them." he grasped her arm, "Follow me." he said it with care as he pulled her gently toward the Ship...they needed to get inside.

Tanith felt strange and wasn't sure how to react when Atlas told her to keep her eyes closed. He sounded different and it took her all her respect for Atlas to keep her eyes closed. His paws felt strange to her, but she walked with him. Wait... was she walking on two legs? She struggled as she followed him. "What's going on?" she asked, realizing her voice was different too.

Atlas's eyes were locked on the Ships entrance way, he was hurrying, but understanding of the fact that Tanith was new to her now humanoid forum and went as slow as was needed for her to follow him correctly, he heard her speak, and the confusion in her voice, "Hold on." He said, again calmly as he could as the finally made it to the ship, he helped her in and then released her, quickly closing the doors and locking it. With that he closed his eyes took a deep breath and then turned around to her, "Tanith...I'm afraid I have a bit of explaining to do," he said hurriedly not wanting to be in this situation at all, quickly he turned, "but first we need to get clothing...."
he started off to the room above that had all that humanoid clothes, it was never really questioned why he had so much when he could never wear it before....

Tanith's confusion and curiousity were too much at this point. "Clothing?" she asked, opening her eyes to find them both in human form.

"Whoa! Whoa... wait what!?" she said, looking at herself and then Atlas. "WHAT!?" she shrieked, not caring that the two were naked, for she was a lion and what was she to think about that, but terrified at what they were. She looked at the room full of clothes and growled.

"Oh you very much DO have some explaining to do!" she said simply, her golden eyes firey. She looked at her strange body and noticed a lot of the markings were there still. Sighing she looked at Atlas, trying to see if any of his scars or markings were noticeable.

Atlas didn't turn around, he unhooked a suit from it's placement and then folded it in front of him, "...I'm sorry Tanith" he said weakly at her discontent, he wasn't quite sure of the specifics on what was going on yet, not until he had a look at the console and better inspected the world that laid outside of the Ships locked doors, he moved though to the female clothing he had stashed from long ago, and picked out some clothing for Tanith and then quickly, naturally sprinted down the steps towards her before handing her the clothing...then stepping back, "I'm sorry," he mumbled once more, not looking at her directly, "But...I must...put on clothing first..." he said uneasily almost blushing, "And you should as well."

Tanith didn't feel the embarrassment that Atlas obviously felt and shrugged it off as he handed her some clothes. She stared at them a little bit as if confused as to what they were. "Uh...," she started but decided to just try herself.

Okay... one leg in... and then the other leg... oh that's easy, she thought, managing to put on the underwear and black jeans she was given. She looked at the bra as if it were some strange creature and somehow figured out how to put it on before putting on the tanktop and arm warmers. She was pleased to find her earring still in and her necklace still around her neck, although for some reason it had formed into a choaker. Again shrugging, she placed the bangles on her arms and the serpent bracelet she found.

Sighing she walked around barefooted until she found some boots she figured matched what she wore and put them on after finding some socks. She was amused that the clothes actually fit her and she returned to the console room to wait for Atlas... and hopefully some explaination as to why she was a human.

She had figured out the walking on two legs thing pretty well, but she missed her wings and claws, as well as her horns and, truth be told, her serpent tail. Although he could sometimes be a troublemaker, he was a part of her. Ignoring the thought, she sat down and fiddled with her bracelets.

As soon as she took the clothing he fled off to another room, rushing to get his clothing on. When he finally got back he was quite relieved to see Tanith was able to dress herself properly, and wasn't freaking out.
He was wearing a dark green suit, his hair was still the same color, a dark brown, except for the green tuff that resided in the bottom part of his mane. His eyes where the same dazzling blue, and he still had that tiny scar on his left eyebrow.
He walked in cautiously, "Those clothes look good on you." he put effort into a smile, then hesitated, about to say something but decided against it, and walked over to the controls....controls designed for human hands, he walked about the console, grabbing a switch with his hand, "Much better..." he muttered before then flipping switches much quicker and more natural then before. Soon his expression became disturbed and he ran over to the monitor, now looking quite grim, "Nonono...."

Tanith was the one to blush this time and smiled. She accompanied him to the console and watched as he became worried.

"Oh no... not that face... what happened?" she asked, her golden eyes showing the fear she felt because of him. She tried to decipher what he said but was unable to read it.

"Atlas...?" she asked, not sure what to say.

He sighed frusterated, "I can't send you back....I can't send us back.." he walked over to another mechanism tried to pump it, and then flipped a switch waiting for something to happen...nothing. "The SHIP's completely dead..." He sighed again pulling himself away from the console, "We're in another dimension, which we can't leave...and I can't even find out any readings about it because the SHIP lost it's power source...." he turned to meet her gaze apologetically, "I wish I could give you your original form back."

A confused expression came over her face. "W-wait... why would you want to send ME back... and I don't mind having this form... it just... surprised me," she said looking at the flesh on her body rather than fur. It was new to her, but it definitely wasn't too unpleasant.

Pacing around a bit, she tried to think. "Okay, so... is there a way we can restore the SHIP's power source?" she asked, turning her gaze to him.

"Plus... we can always explore," she said, smiling. Oddly, she liked this new sense of danger, fear, and the unknown.

Atlas stayed silent for her first question, letting her mind wander to other thoughts, obliged that she did he jumped to the other subject, "I'm not sure.." "The SHIP's suppose to run in my universe, and any parallel dimension...so I'm guessing this dimension isn't parallel at all..." he glanced over at the screen, "...before the SHIPS landing, I did manage to see some sort of read out, but it didn't make any sense." he shook his head. When she mentioned exploring he smiled eagerly then suddenly raised a brow, "You don't seem phased by this situation at all..."

A smirk came over her face and Tanith shrugged. "I AM phased... I'm just trying to make light of a very bad situation. The SHIP is trapped in some strange universe, we're not sure if we can repower it, and we're both stuck in some strange form," she said moving her arms and gesturing toward her body as if to make the point.

"And don't think I FORGOT about my previous question... why the hell do you keep trying to send me home? Geez, haven't I proved myself able to at least survive? If you didn't want me to come you should have just said so," she said, putting her hands on her hips. She seemed to be used to the human thing.

Atlas listened while slightly worried, believing a normal earthling wouldn't be so calm even if one was trying to "make light of a very bad situation" he was actually expecting Tanith to go into shock, but then again she always seemed to surprise him. "Yea..." he mumbled quietly, "...strange form..." letting his gaze slowly move to the corner of his eyes as he spoke. But at her next remark his attention snapped back to her, he raised his eyebrows and raised his hands, "Now, now that's not what I mean to do! I've taken you around haven't I? Even out to other planets..." he breathed thinking quickly, "It's just...I'd feel better if we where in your own universe, in your original form."
