Morzendruch floated in the water, his eyes cast to the heavens and a large smile on his lips. He still couldn't believe the gods had granted his prayer at the very end. At last, it is over, I can rest now, he thought and clenched his prayer beads in his massive hand.

He knew that everyone who died would have to make the transition to the afterlife, so he remained patient as he floated, but the lack of others was disconcerting. Surely there should have been others, he thought. Then he noticed the clouds forming above and his smile vanished. Were the gods not pleased with him afterall? Was he meant to fulfill some other part of their plan? His mind raced with these possibilities as he looked around and saw the water was relatively shallow.

Once he got his feet underneath him, he noticed the island in front of him. Hope burned in his eyes and he thought, I see, the gods still have a plan for me afterall. With that, he marched towards the island.

(sorry if I jumped the gun, I really wanted to get him into the game)

(It's ok...go ahead, just read the islands bio in current state & lands so you have a clue about the nature of the island, and I'll start adding more detailed island forums...also if your character builds something, changes, something, destroys, etc that can be added to the island too.)

Sitting in a boat, fishing with a few friends, Yuu recalled the boat tipping in the waves and him falling over backwards into the cool clear water. It looked absolutely stupid and he could feel his sister’s presence laughing at the back of his mind. Annoyed he began swimming upwards to where the sun glittered off the water and blinded him.

Bursting through he gasped and choked for the air having accidentally swallowed a load of water in his fall - but something was wrong! The boat was gone and the coast line changed. Kicking to keep himself afloat his foot came into contact of something hard and Yuu found that he could stand with his head comfortably above the water. “How…?” the thought was about to form in his head when he realised the katana at his side was vibrating, almost as if agitated.

Pulling it out of it’s sheath a hissing sound came out as the blade made contact with the water and turned it into steam. It was glowing a dull red for a moment before calming down and turning once again into a normal sword. Puzzled at all these events a feeling of dread descended on Yuu as he began to realise that the presence of his twin was absent from his mind. They were one soul born in two bodies and without her he was hollow and incomplete.

‘Did something happen to her? Is she alright?’ Those and hundreds of questions filled his mind. Needing to fill the silence he shouted out her name;

“YUKI!!”



(Let’s not meet immediately, I want to make my character a) suffer a bit more b) wander about and c) I want to see what your character does. =P )

While he got closer to the island, Morzendruch was beginning to think it looked like his homeworld. He shook his head in confusion, not knowing what his gods had in store for him. They allow me to die only to send me to an afterlife with no one else in it? he wondered as he looked at the trees and tall grass. Gods, what are you planning...? he thought again. Without delay, he pulled out his prayer beads, bowed his head, and searched for guidance.

As dread started turning into full blown panic Yuu looked around his surroundings frantically. What happened? Did some magic teleport him to this place? Seeing no one around he started wading as fast as possible towards the island in the distance, keeping his sword drawn incase he met the one responsible for this.


As he drew closer he let out a call; “Is anybody there?”

A chill ran through Morzendruch as he clenched the prayer beads. Before his final prayer, he had always felt the warmth of his gods. Now, however, he felt nothing. No matter how much he pleaded, there was no response. Did they stop smiling upon me after my final request? he wondered and looked at the island, still a few miles away.
Or perhaps this is a world the gods do not bless. Clenching his steel wood staff, he banished his fatigue and continued his walk.

His wet clothes dragging him back Yuu kept going until an uneven part of the reef caught a sandal and he tripped over with a splash, dropping his katana underwater. “Great!” he exclaimed as he dove down and picked it up. Back at home he would have been shouted at for such clumsiness, samurai that trip are far from deadly! It didn’t lighten his mood and made him feel even more wretched.

This all seemed like a nightmare he’d have, finding himself somewhere alien and not a soul in sight. Any moment Yuu expected to be shaken up from sleep and told that he had a fever dream

In the distance something fell out of the sky and landed with a massive explosion of earth on the island. The ground could be felt shaking where Yuu was due to the size of the object. It was just like an earthquake! He’d never seen something like that before.

Maybe this “thing” could provide a clue as to why he was here, it didn’t seem to have landed far. Gripping the hilt harder and going more carefully across the reef Yuu made his way to where Atla’s ship had crash landed…

(Does that make it a landmark then? And I haven't seen anything on the lands/state place about that plane wing. For a moment I thought they were related but I guess not.)

Atlas's and Taniths crash landing did create a land mark, but it's under the inland forum, I had asked Saki/stolen dreams where she'd like the forum to be and she proffered it to be a sub-forum. (Subforums have that ">" symbol on their round blue buttons next to their descriptions.)
The "plane wing" is a whole 'nother thing entirely *evil cackle*

Morzendruch had watched the mysterious object appear out of the sky and followed its descent until it crashed. For a moment, the obnoxious whirr of the insects was silenced. He gripped the steelwood staff and finally broke free of the water.

(So since he's not in the reef anymore, does that mean I need to make another thread about him walking across the beach? Also, sounds like we're going to be meeting up, kasha)

(You make the new thread where your going to end up, that's usually how it's done, and then you leave a note at the end of your post, continuing in "whatever thread" and then at that thread you have at the top "Coming in from "The last thread they where in")
