Hello everybody!

I've come here today to announce that I will officially retire from the board.

What this means is simple enough - Brina has made me an Admin and I felt really flattered that she thought I could do it. I had fun doing it and looking after the board, at first, but I've changed and have to say, I've lost interest.

Brina, choose a new Admin, someone who is really worthy of the job!

I'm still a CSI:NY fan and I watch the show every week, but I simply don't feel the need to discuss it anymore. And maybe 'fan' is the wrong word. Seeing as a 'fan' is a 'fanatic' and I simply can't get overly hyped up anymore. The show is good, it has the occasional great storyline and it has good characters (apart from Haylen), but I can't say that I am absolutely in love with the show as I used to be. I can't make myself read about about DL or whatever other ship there is. I'm not a shipper, have never been one and honestly, I couldn't care less who sleeps with whom.

My private time is dear to me and I simply love to spend it with my real-world friends and my books. I guess I've simply outgrown online forums.

Every single one of you has been a great friend on here and you really have created an amazing community for yourself. Keep it up! I'm quite certain that this way, many more people will want to join the board.

I might pop in from time to time, but don't count on it. I really am sorry. My apologies go to Brina in particular because she is always such a great friend and I feel as if I'm letting her down right now. But this board has so many great members, I'm quite sure that one of them will make a good new Admin.

It was a pleasure meeting you all!

But I know the feeling, when your affection for a series slowly seems to die. It happened to me with ER.
