This site is an AU, that means you can reinvent characters to fit the universe. However, what you cannot do is, say, take a character's powers and change everything else about them. A canon is a canon, and an OC is an OC, we accept both just not a weird hybrid of them both. We don't tolerate any sort of discrimination, whether it be orientation, gender, race, etc. any sort of harassment and you WILL BE BANNED from the site without a moment's hesitation. for now, we go by the honor code, so if you decide to break the trust bestowed upon you, you're basically done. not to sound really harsh, but it's just the truth. this is basically a no bs policy and i won't allow my members to not feel safe in this environment.

When you register, make sure it's with a FIRST and LAST name. We'd rather not spend time changing everyone's usernames because you didn't follow the rules. Also, if you're going to play an original, please don't make their last name the same as a canon's. There are no such things as long lost siblings (unless if it's seriously in the comics/movies or talked beforehand).

This site does have an application! This is not meant to terrorize our members, but to inspire. So yes, it is a pain, but once you're done you know your character better than you know yourself. please do not roleplay until you have completely filled it out. Also remember to post in the face claim. It's pretty simple and keeps the forum nice and clean. sounds easy enough.

Also you MUST be eighteen or older to join the site. Some of the themes and content on the site are too mature for some players and in the past we've had problems with this. Sorry, it's just our policy.

This is a literate site, meaning we've got standards here. Paragraphs, that's what we want for posts. notice it is plural. RECIPROCATION! Don't give someone a bs response after they give you a pretty lengthy post! We get every once in a while, but if it's a continuous thing? It's a problem. The guideline word count is 200 words. If you feel like you can't live up to those expectations, chances are this is not the board for you. No powerplaying or godmoding without permission first from another player. If you plan on killing your character, let an admin know. Finally, if you're starting up a topic password part one is 'mutant' with a specific person, please make note of that in the title or the subtitle so that no one else posts in it. we have a limit of seven or eight characters on the site. we'd rather you ONLY take one or two as opposed to 5 or 6 because you may not be active in all of them and forget your other plots. no one is perfect, and neither are your characters. they can't all be the popular, partying, guy getting girl. everyone has faults, and let those show!

NO OMEGA CHARACTERS. I will not repeat myself. There is no one more powerful than Magneto and Professor X unless if they are a listed canon. If you're getting pissy about this rule, then this is not the board for you, and you should find somewhere else to go. We're severely tired of getting these characters who are gods and, if you want a god-like character, we will not let you change your character. We will flat-out deny and say have a nice day.

Your title should be set as last name, first name. The subtitle should be your character's codename. anything different and we will deny your application and ask you to change it. You can't post without being accepted, so just keep that in mind. If your application is a WIP (work in progress) please say so in the title password part two is 'pride'so that we don't come in and start reviewing. We do NOT start reviewing until you say you are completely finished. When you're done with the WIP, remove "WIP" and bump your application with "bump". If you pick a canon, you can't change their powers or add to them. also, don't change their personality. We don't need to have Wolverine frollicking in flowers andcomplimenting e veryone. that would just be frightening.

Please stay active! i know we all have lives so we don't expect you to come on every single day, but please try to be on! If you are going to be gone for for longer than 3-4 days, please post in the absence section. that way you don't just go MIA on us here. If you do need to leave the admins can then put your play by/character up for grabs for someone who will use it. Also, if you have 5 characters, but you only roleplay with 2 of them we will delete unused characters. It's not fair for you to hog characters other people can use. So please, please, PLEASE stay active.

This site is rated M, because in life you never know what's gonna happen. This does NOT mean excessive violence, swearing or sex. Swearing is allowed but don't make it a second language. Since rosetta stone doesn't offer it, i don't consider it a language, kay? If there's gonna be sex, mark the thread with a [M] or [mature] just so those reading responses are expecting. if you want to fade to black, sure do that. It's not mandatory, but don't make it so graphic that this becomes a porn site.
