Random Quote: The echoes that carried itself across the ruins seem to confirm the fact that he was alone. His Queen was long dead and Narnia was changing. A new battle was on the horizon and he did not care. Nostalgia for days long past gripped what little heart he had. Read it Here
Canon Characters: Are you interested in playing a character from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe? It would be nice to have the Beavers! Also, we could use a new Queen Lucy, King Edmund and King Peter Click here to read about Canon Characters.

I have a question concerning half-breeds...would they be allowed? (It's because I was wondering if I could create a half-giant before I submit my profile). ^^;;

half-giant, and half human? sure..but, you'd have to say that his human ancestors came from Archenland or Calormen, because at this time in Narnia, the only humans are the four Pevensie kids...k?

could you please explaine it?
thank-you!

I had to do a bit of research! I can't believe how much I've forgotten!

So, Queen Aravis' adventures in the Horse and His Boy take place during the Golden Age, when the Pevensie kids are Kings and Queens.

So, Aravis is a teen girl, according to my book here...from Calormen, she runs away and becomes queen of Archenland...through marriage to King Cor...and her child is (or will be) King Ram the Great...

now, in our story line, the Pevensie kids have just started their rule...so, really, Aravis would still be a teen....yet to run away....

....but, I don't mind jumping ahead of ourselves....if you want her to be Queen of Archenland now...but, in that case, I do eventually want a King Cor on the site...okay?

Oh, and this is a canon character, so you'll need to post an example of role-play....but I'm sure you write well smile.gif

After that, the family will be yours. smile.gif

hi i've got a new question.
allthough in narnia, they never used talking horses for work, and they would never usually ride them, it does contain quite a few examples of them riding dumb (non-talking) horses. is this allright with everybody?i am thinking of having a horse as i have said that Aravis likes horses (it said she does in the part where she is talking to Lasaraleen) .
i just wanted to check. smile.gif

You're right about how talking horses rarely have riders...so yes, it would be a good idea to have her ride a 'dumb' horse.

Personally, I didn't like how -in the movie- Edmund was riding a talking horse (in the hunt for the White Stag)...it's not like they were in battle, so I didn't think it should've happened...but oh well, I'll get over it tongue.gif

I can't see why you couldn't ride a non-talking horse. As long as you treat it nicely. I like horses.

Oh, you can join in on any role-play, as long as they didn't advertise the role-play as closed. smile.gif You could also start a new one; whatever you like.

I was wondering..wether you could have your character post in a roleplay that was located far from the characters homeland.I once posted in a Stone Table roleplay, and was criticised for being there, because my character lives in Anvard.Just wondering...

You can post a role-play, anywhere --after all, your character may be on a long journey. smile.gif
