HARRISON COUNTY -- Sheriff’s investigators today asked the public for help to find Christopher John Moorcroft, missing more than three weeks.
Foul play is not suspected, but he listed as a missing person as a welfare concern, Sheriff’s Capt. Carl Rhodes said. Moorcroft, 42, had been living on Pine Cliff Cove near Biloxi.
Moorcroft had called his girlfriend Feb. 16 to say he was sick and would be home in two hours. He never made it home and there is no indication he has made any financial transactions that could help trace his movement, Rhodes said.
He was described as 5-feet-7, 180 pounds, with red hair, green eyes and a tiger tattoo on his lower right leg. He was driving a gray 2011 Ford Fusion with a Louisiana tag and owned by Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
The license plate number is N293604.
Anyone who has seen him is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 865-7060 and ask for Det. C.J. Judy, or call its criminal investigations division at 896-0679
