The Mississippi Highway Patrol is issuing an Amber Alert following the abduction of a child from Lamar County, Mississippi. Authorities are asking you to be on the look out for a 2002 white, four door Ford Focus with a Scott County, Mississippi license plate S-C-I-4-3-1.
The vehicle is occupied by an adult male and a male child.
The adult is identified as 30 year old Cedric Deshun Martin. Martin is a black male, 6 feet tall and weighs 165 pounds, he has brown hair and brown eyes.
The child is identified as Xavier Deshun Martin, black male, two years old with long black braided hair and brown eyes 3 feet two inches tall weighing 34 pounds.
Martin was last seen on Friday, April 23rd after he released the child's mother. Martin is believed to be in the Madison, Mississippi area after authorities traced his cell phone signal. Martin is believed to be armed and is considered extremely dangerous.
