Larka walked onto the Ray fields, Justice following behind her. The storm had been brutal on them, but they had not been beaten to the ground. Larka's snowy pelt was still soaked and she was tired from battling so long and hard. The light no longer shone for a few minutes ago she had whispered the ancient words of which to make the light fade. But the light was still there, just a few words away if they ever needed it. Mud splattered her long legs so they were now a chocalate brown. She turned her head to Justice. "Welcome to the Light Lands. These are the Ray Fields."

Justice looked around the lands, a strange feeling once again in his heart. Home. This was now his home. He would protect this land, and the land would protect him. Blood would be spilt, both his and his enemies. He knew he would die to protect the land, for it was his.

"The Ray fields." He said softly under his breath as he walked. Onyx eyes fell on everything. From the smallest blade of grass, the a rock randomly strewn around the earth. Shaking his snowy pelt out he let out a loud yawn, his body, mind, and soul tired from the battle of the storm.

Continuing to walk forward, mud splashed on his white pelt staining his legs a dark brown. Ivory talons sunk into the earth leaving small holes in the soft dirt of the land. Shaking his pelt once more he managed to get most of the water off of it, but it left his pelt sticking up at odd angles, making him look quiet a bit larger then his already giant frame.

"Home." Justice muttered softly under his breath as he continued to look around, his gaze finally landing on Larka with a small smile.

Larka returned Justice's smile and took a deep breath of the fresh air. A breeze ran by and ruffled her ivory pelt. Firey amber optics searched the Fields and she lay down. Her eyes flickered slightly with exhaustion but she managed to keep them from closing. She looked back up at Justice and said, "Feel like exploring?" Her voice was edged with weariness, but it was still gentle and musical. Grace and nobitlity hng there as well, but she didn't think of herself as superrior to Justice just because she was Alphess. She didn't feel superior to any wolf.

Justice could feel the weariness in her. He could feel the weariness in himself. If they didn't stop soon then they would both crash. But when she asked him if he wished to explore, he wanted nothing more then to say yes. Still, the back of his mind told him to request a different option. A safer one.

"Honestly, m'lady, I was thinking. Maybe we should rest. Both of us are dead on our feet." He spoke softly, his voice raspy for lack of use. His paws were sore, as was the rest of his body. Psychically, mentally, emotionally. All he needed was a good long rest.

"Mmm. Mayhap tilted lake would be a nice place to rest." Larka could tell Justice wanted to explore, and she pushed herself into a sitting position. "Then we can explore. Even I haven't fully explored the territory yet." Larka was weary and tired, but her firey optics held a glint that told otherwise. A fire lurked within her soul. The burning passion of freedom was that fire. Nothing could put it out, nothing. Not weariness, not enprisonment, nothing. However, there was one thing. Death could put out the burning fire, because whether she went up above, or down below, she would truly be free. Even now, Larka thought she was free enough. Prancing through the Ray Fields, swimming through Tilted Lake. But her sould said otherwise. Death was a far way off anyway. Larka grinned again and stood, white pelt rippling as her hard muscles moved under it.

Tilted Lake. A nice name. Most likely a nice place. As long as he could get up the energy to. Of course he could. He may be dead on his feet but as long as his alphess kept moving, so would he.

So keeping his pillars moving and he his held high he trotted after Larka. She reminded him of himself when he was younger. When he had Thunder to keep him in line. Now he was acting more and more like her every day.

As he looked at his paws he noticed something. He would not walk straight. He would not, or he could not? His pawsteps made him sway and he realized something. He was lost without her. Lost without her guiding him. Lost without her beside him.

Justice gave her a smile, even though she could not see him, he still smiled. Yes, his alphess was just as lively, just as pure as he used to be. Once upon a time. Long, long ago.

"Anything you wish m'lady. I will follow you wherever you go."

A smile traced over Larka's maw and she went into a steady lope, paws beating the ground in rythm to her heartbeat. Her snowy maw looked at Justice and she smiled. "To Tilted Lake we go then." The music her mother had sung to her drifted through the memories she held close and, without her noticing, the words rippled over her lips, the musical tune playing in her mind.

"Oh over the drifting fields afar,
Through the stormy lands,
Time will tell who you really are,
And Tor will guide you strong.

Over the peaks of mountains high,
Through the rainbow of forest,
Time will never lie,
For what you are is what you are,
You cannot change your fate.

The drifting guide of river flow,
Will show you the way back home,
For only you can show what you really are,
And Tor will guide you strong."

At that moment Larka noticed that the joyus words were drifting over her lips, the tune floating from her muzzle in song. She shut her mouth before she started the last verses and blushed rosy red under her pelt of snow. She was quiet as the drifted over the Ray Fields, and a line of the song drifted over her lips again. "And Tor will guide you strong."

Onyx eyes full of wisdom and justice gazed upon the alphess. Giant snowy paws lifted higher and faster as his pace quickened. Strong pillars let to giant paws which beat upon the ground with such force that the earth itself moved. Lifting his gaze up to the sky, he never slackened his pace.

A melodious voice reached his perked ears and he let out a small smile. Then very slowly his maw opened and a deeper, slightly raspy, voice shared the earth's air tones with her. Though the words were different, they fit in perfectly with the fae's.

"Gazing up to mountains high,
Seeking justice through the sky,
Wandering lonely for years on end,
Seeking truth upon the wind.

Lost for years without a name,
Brought back to Earth to tame,
Teaching others what not to
Do to life, to be true.

Fallen Angel lead me on,
Brave and Wise, Just and Strong
Lead me on,
Please lead me on.
"

The song was deep, with sound and words. It had been sung to him by the Angels of Heaven and the Demons of Hell as he had been thrown back to the plans of Earth. Even now he remembered it, and though for years he had been haunted by it, it now had become a part of him.

OOC- Sorry, I had to! lol. Yeah, it's all copywrited to me too!
