Sander stared at her, shocked, and then his eyes narrowed as he gave the girl a death glare.
"You think you can beat someone as beauteous as myself? You're on! Crysatl, go destroy them!" Sander yelled, because he felt important when he yelled, and Crystal leaped into the battle.
"<You're going down lady!>" She yelled, causing Sander to smirk. Their awesomeness would triumph over all.

[Ninja]

"Ha ha ha! Destroy me? I think not! she gloated. Wow, so much arrogance in such little girl... You're up, Silcoon! Show them who's boss!"

The silky cacoon Pokemon leapt from the log (...) and landed in your makeshift battlefield, giving Crystal an evil look from that one eye slot.

"Use Harden, then hit 'em with your meanest Poison Sting!" she commanded, balling up her fists to show she meant buisness.

[Adronscyther]

"Oh yeah?! Well, two can play it that way! Crystal, use harden as well, then rock slide!" Sander shouted, completely oblivious to the fact that harden was useless since Silcoon was using a special attack move.

But at least it made him feel good, not to mention he was attempting to recover from the fact that the ugly white bundle had actually moved. What was the world coming too?! White silky things that breathed?! Whaaaat?

[Ninja]

The Pokemon exchanged nasty glares, focusing their molecules to harden their bodies and boost their defenses. Crystal, being the fastest, started out by heaving several boulders at her opponent! Poor Silcoon wasn't the speediest of Pokemon, however, and was hit directly with the super effective attack! She was quickly buried under the rocks, and everyone fell silent... But suddenly, a wave of purple barbs shot from a gap between two of them, destroying the boulders and freeing her from her prison! The rest of the barbs went on to bite at Crystal's rock-like hide, doing less damage than normal-- but one lodged itself in her pink flesh, giving her a poison! She let out a furious cry, attempting to shake it off of her, but one can only do so much with such stubby little arms... Silcoon had barely survived the Rock Slide-- her hardened coating helped a bit-- and she was still rearing to go, seething with rage at the coral Pokemon.

Sander watched the battle with bright eyes, tail twitching frantically back and forth. He couldn't loose to this simpleton!
"Destroy that unbeauteous thing with one last rock slide!" Sander bellowed, and found that he enjoyed yelling quite a bit. It made him feel more important then he already was... because naturally, someone as beautiful and awesome as he had to be important right?!

[Ninja]

"Not so fast!" Dana cried, a wily grin spreading across her features. "Ready, Silcoon? Super String Shot combo, go!"

Crystal wasn't amused by the fancy name and simply tossed the rocks as usual, already able to taste victory. This Silcoon, however, did not like to be cooked up in her shell. She wanted to be a gorgeous Beautifly, able to spread her wings and flit about with ease. So she trained night and day, becoming ever closer to the moment when she would burst from her cacoon as a strong and pretty butterfly Pokemon. Her trainer had also worked very hard with her-- and in their training escapades, they'd worked out a system. Which Sander was about to learn.

The silk was strewn everywhere. In mere moments it looked like it had just snowed, and Silcoon was nowhere to be seen. In truth, she was buried under all this sticky stuff, patiently Hardening her shell with all she was worth. When the boulders hit, she barely felt a thing.

"NOW!!" she screeched, clearly trying to outdo you for loudness. A blood-curdling scraping was heard before yet another flurry of poisonous barbs shattered the boulders! Now, in addition to the String Shot, chunks of the previous Rock Slide littered the ground. And atop all of it was Silcoon without a scratch on her. Crystal, however, took some damage from her Poison.

Alright that's IT! Sander thought, furious and outraged and... uh, outraged! Nobody harms my number one start contestant and get's away with it!

"Crystal, shake it off!" Sander yelled. "Surround yourself with rocks and then charge forward! The rocks will protect you from attacks!" Hopefully "Ram into that Silcoon with all your might!"

[Ninja]

"Silcoon! Brace for impact, and use String Shot!!"

Crystal clad her body with a thick armour of rocks until all you could see of her were her pink spikes, gleaming eyes, and four stubby little legs. Silcoon, meanwhile, was adding ever more layers to defend herself with. By now she was tightly wrapped and almost three times her normal size -- it would be tough to get through that barrier... But try Crystal did, who reared back and charged for her competitor! A sturdy rope of sticky silk shot from a small opening in the cacoon's shell, directly smacking onto the Corsola's frontal boulder in an attempt to push her back; but the extra weight from the rocks helped out with her strength, and she powered through to land a reckless tackle on the bug that sent her hurtling at a tree! Upon impact, several chunks of her shell shattered and fell to the ground, leaving Silcoon vulnerable and very much in pain. It's amazing how she could still hold on... Crystal narrowed her eyes. She just wasn't going to waste her time with that ugly creature anymore. The coral Pokemon spit a random barb of poison which stabbed into the cacoon's exposed flesh and she abruptly fainted.

"Wh-wh-wh-whaAAA?! You need to learn to control your Pokemon better! Now Ledyba, let's teach this mean boy a lesson!" Dana raged, swapping her beaten bug for an oversized red beetle, who buzzed into the battlefield before striking a tough pose. Crystal cringed; she was so not in the mood to take down another one, especially with this nasty poison slowly sapping at her health.

"Two can play it that way!" Sander called out, Eevee ears pressed back as his tail flicked to and fro. "Go, Shander!" The Ledyba appeared in a bright flash of light, and blinked blearily.

"Use supersonic, and while it's preoccupied with the attack, fly up and dive bomb the other Ledyba with tackle attack!" Sander called out, watching Shander confidently.

[Ninja]

A slight smirk tugged at Dana's lips.

"Dodge it! Then take to the trees!"

Shander, standing back on two legs, opened his mouth to release a shrill screech! The sound waves, forming rings, floated towards the other Ledyba... But the next instant, he was gone! Your Pokemon gasped, looking around wildly. Where did his opponent go? A rustle of leaves in a nearby bush, and everyone turned - only to find he had gone again! A blur of red in the branches above, but the bug was gone in a flash. Dana laughed.

"Y'see, me and my Ledyba have been training for days to master forest combat. Now he's the fastest bug around!" She ended with another cackle. Shander's wings buzzed cautiously as he flittered up into the air anyway, hoping to scope out the ninja ladybug.
