Another one of my favorite movies ever!!!

Story: Set in the roaring 20's, this is the story of Chicago chorus girl Roxie Hart (Zellweger), who shoots her unfaithful lover (West). Landing in jail, she meets Velma Kelly (Zeta-Jones), another chorus girl and murderess, currently enjoying media attention and legal manipulation, care of her attorney, Billy Flynn (Gere), king of the old "Razzle Dazzle." Soon enough, however, Flynn takes Roxie's case as well, and Velma finds herself old news as Roxie is now the most famous murderess in town, on her way to getting out of jail and becoming a star. The two go through a series of attempts at getting what they both want (often conflicting): freedom and fame... (Latifah plays Mama Morton, a prison matron; Baranski plays a tabloid reporter; Reilly plays Roxie's husband; Diggs plays a band leader).

Never heard of any of them. cept Chicago, though i've never watched it i think i remember it from somewhere...

heh cant talk much bout chicago since i havent seen it. never really thought about watching it buy maybe i should, (is this thread also about movies heh).

Okay here it goes.

Most people think musicals are crap!! Well, they aren't they are something to get stuck in your head for awhile. Even my friends cousin, who is a anti-musical person, LOVES it. It is an AMAZING MOVIE!


You can IM me sometime on aim and i can get you on mic and play some of the music. I highly doubt you will go through the trouble of doing that, but its a suggestion o.o..

yea you're probably right. i most likely won't do that. though, I did not know it was a musical in the first place. but on another note, i don't really like musical things in my movies. like in those old disney cartoons. i hated alot of the singing parts. i'm just not that kinda guy. hmm though what music is in there? jazz?

Yeah kinda, but its super cool! and they don't go out of no where and sing. you just have to see it okay?

hmm nah, i'm too lazy to go and rent it or anything. sides, i uh... don't know where a blockbuster is in my neighborhood.
